Apple Inc Patent Map/ Track pad

As I have searched in the query of WIPO patent scope for the track technology of Apple Inc. I have found 3 patent which is track for music, track for GPS and the last track pad which I choose track pad for further investigation.

The new Magic Trackpad is the first Multi‑Touch trackpad designed to work with your Mac desktop computer. It uses the same Multi‑Touch technology you love on the MacBook Pro. And it supports a full set of gestures, giving you a whole new way to control and interact with what’s on your screen. Swiping through pages online feels just like flipping through pages in a book or magazine. And inertial scrolling makes moving up and down a page more natural than ever. Magic Trackpad connects to your Mac via Bluetooth wireless technology. Use it in place of a mouse or in conjunction with one on any Mac computer — even a notebook.

The largest Multi‑Touch trackpad ever

Magic Trackpad is just like the trackpad on the MacBook Pro — but bigger. It’s made with the same advanced touch-friendly and wear-resistant glass surface. But with nearly 80 percent more area, it’s the largest Multi‑Touch trackpad

Click
Press down anywhere on the Multi‑Touch surface to physically click or double-click. Or, with “Tap to Click” enabled in System Preferences, simply tap or double-tap the surface.

Scroll
Brush two fingers along the Multi‑Touch surface to scroll in any direction — vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

Swipe
Using three fingers, brush left and right along the Multi Touch surface to page forward and back

Rotate
With your thumb and index finger on the Multi‑Touch surface, twist clockwise or counterclockwise to rotate an image.

I have designed a news tablet reader which has the special feature of touch screen, which allows the user to scroll through the page. The specification requires an input that has to be through a mouse/keyboard/monitor. I have met this specification by designing a news tablet which usually has a mouse connected to the tablet, but the one I have created served this purpose by just scrolling on the screen of the tablet.…

Gaze gestures are a kind of an interaction with technology or said in other words – people move their eyes in different patterns so that they can interact with computers. There has been interest in the recent years in gaze gestures, because of their natural origin and to certain degree ease of use. They are considered as very innovative, but in the same time have a restricted usage due to different hardware-wise, software-wise and user-wise limitations. The demand for such an interaction grows with every year as technology progresses constantly and virtual reality and head mounted display attract more and more attention.…

Most people have never heard of it, but it's already on your computer. It allows you to move the mouse by using the number pad on the right side of the keyboard. To access MouseKeys (and other goodies that I'll get to later), click on the Start menu and select Control Panel. The first icon displayed is Accessibility Options (see second image). Double-click it. Now! Click the Mouse tab at the top of the dialog box (see third image). Check the box next to "Use MouseKeys." You may want to tinker with the way this option works, so click on Settings (see fourth image). Here, we can customize our MouseKeys. To decrease or increase the speed of the mouse, drag the Top Speed slider arrow left or right. You can also adjust the acceleration speed of the mouse. My advice is to set both speeds on high. A slow acceleration speed can be very trying. I can assure you that it will never be too fast to handle. These speeds vary from computer to computer, but for me, faster is easier. Let's run through all of the MouseKeys actions. To move the mouse, press the arrow keys. To left-click, press "5." To right-click, press "-" and then "5." To disable right-clicking, press "/". To drag, press "0." To drop, press…

Attached at the base of the tablet is the touch cover which is optional if you decide to purchase the tablet. It is used like your standard laptop keyboard with the exception that there are no buttons; you just touch the perceived letter and it registers on the screen. There is also an optional type cover which is a thinner version of your standard keyboard. Towards the bottom of the cover is a track pad used like what you would on a laptop. You will also notice there is something supporting this contraption. It is a kick-stand that is attached to the tablet itself. When use of the Surface is done, the unit folds up like a book, touch/type cover and all to help protect the screen.…
