Apple Audience Analysis
Students attend college for a reason: because it plays an important role in professional and social life. College is available for career preparation and to expand learning. Before graduating I would like to research for a company to intern or to work for. I’ve been researching for several days seeking a company that would interest me. After researching, I have found a couple of companies that interest me, such as Apple Inc., Samsung, Sony, and Cayuga Medical Center. As I researched more about the companies I have decided the company that interests me most is “Apple Inc.” Apple interests me for interning or working for because Apple promised, “A job at Apple is unlike any other you’ve had. You’ll be challenged. You’ll be inspired. And you’ll be proud. Because whatever your job is here, you’ll be part of something big.” This quote inspired me, and I like to be challenged in a workplace. The culture of Apple has never been stronger. Innovation is deeply embedded in Apple’s culture. Apple speaks to me, because of the boldness, ambition, belief there are not limits, a desire to make the very best products in the world. It is the strongest company ever. Apple believes that living by strong values is the key to good business. At Apple, a rigorous code of conduct and those core values are at the heart of every decision they make. Quite simply, Apple is its people. At Apple, they are dedicated to giving their people a wealth of opportunities to reach their full potential. Everything Apple does is driven by an unyielding passion for excellence and an unfaltering commitment to develop the best products and services on the market. A business cannot be successful unless it creates prosperity and opportunity for others. Apple is dedicated to being a socially and environmentally responsible corporation in every community where they operate around the globe. Talking to some Apple employees, you might come away with the impression that there is no better place to work than

Apple corporation bases its success on “creating innovative, high quality products and services and on demonstrating integrity in every business interaction.” According to Apple, four main principles contribute to integrity: honesty, respect, confidentiality, and compliance. To more thoroughly detail these principles, Apple has drafted a code of business conduct that applies to all its operations, including operations overseas. Apple disappointed socially responsible investors. Apple has come under fire since around 2006 as details emerged surrounding the workplace environment at Apple 's Chinese suppliers. An article in The New York Times publicized unsatisfactory worker conditions, which included grueling 24-hour shifts, overcrowded dorms, exposure to toxic chemicals, and horrific explosions. Foxconn Technology Group operates many of the plants in question in Chengdu, China. When it comes to customers, Apple is said to be a bold innovator that leads the industry into new directions and forces others to follow. However, when it comes to the management of its supply chain and treatment of workers in the Chinese factories that make its products, Apple hides behind the constraints of prevailing industry practices. What is even more disconcerting is the fact that these practices are in violation of not only local and national laws, but also of Apple 's own voluntary self-imposed code of conduct.…

When people try to discover how it is to work for Apple but many former employees fear retribution form Apple. That says much about a company, were a former employee fears what may happen if they spoke about Apple. One thing at Apple is that they always know who is responsible for a project. "Apple's attitude is, 'You have the privilege of working for the company that's making the fucking coolest products in the world,'" (LASHINSKY, 2011, p 7).
