Ever since I can remember, I have always been fascinated with cars. I do not know what it is, there is just something about being able to customize and race a variety of different types of cars. Some may say that spending money on cars is a waste of money and time, but I think it is one of the best investments because of how long they can last, especially if they are taken care of. Cars that are really old and have been taken care of can still to this day sell for a substantial amount of money. Cars are a good escape for me because of the many areas of a car that can be altered. There are many types of cars that have the potential to become an amazing machine. My personal favorite is the import cars. These types of cars are what I have always liked because the style of them draws the most to me. These cars are mostly Japanese; therefore, they are going to be made for the driver who is not very tall. Due to the fact that that the imports are usually front wheel drive, they have the amazing ability to maneuver many sharp turns on the track. They are used for drag racing as well, but are not as effective. The imports overall best suit what appeals teenagers, and that is why so many younger people have this type of car. I myself do have an import car, which is a 1995 Honda civic ex, that I do regularly take care of to keep it in the best shape as possible. The next type of car that appeal to me are the muscle cars. These types of cars have been popular for many years. These cars will usually have the most power because they are rear wheel drive. These are made here in America; therefore, they are not going to be made with great quality so it will take effort to keep these in good shape. When racing these on a track they will be the least effective when used on a track with turns, but on the drag strip is a different story. They are almost unstoppable when it

Certain types of novels, articles, or even images has social intentions. One of them is satire, "It is a style of writing, or art, which ridicules or criticizes its subject often as an attempt to accomplish change." Which is what both the Adbusters image and Aldous Huxley's novel Brave New World bring about.
