I do subscribe to the theory of "the Anonymous Christian". Nobody other than God knows what is in the heart of an individual and God has mercy on whomever He wants. Religion by itself cannot save the human being. God demands obedience and although religion helps individuals to reach the knowledge needed to understand, it does not guarantee the salvation. Matthew 19:25-26 & 30 “25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” 26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” 30 But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
