While 6 million people may have died in the Holocaust, think about all of the people who survived and struggled to have hope in the hard times. The only way to get through such a tragedy like the holocaust was to be optimistic, and try to forgive people for the horrible misfortunes they committed. Anne Frank and her family had hope and they lived in hiding for two years.
