Anne Frank Dynamic Character
My second reason why Anne Frank is a dynamic character is because of the way she reacts to the same situations. When she first went into hiding, she was over dramatic and she acted like everything in her life was a lie. For examples, when Daddy told Anne about the reason why they're in hiding, it was as she was a fish out of water. When the first bomb landed somewhere near the Secret Annex, it was like she was alreading writing out her will. She didn’t stop continuing her behavior until a few years, which was weird at first because at this point, I thought that she was going to stay over dramatic forever. She has shown positive progress with her temperament, which is the main reason why I believe that she’s a dynamic

Born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany, Annelies Marie Frank was a Holocaust victim and a famous diarist. Judging from her diary, she was a outgoing, spirited child that got in trouble frequently. Her father, Otto Frank, was a businessman while her mother, Edith, stayed home taking care of Anne and her older sister, Margot. Her sister, Margot, was three years older than her. Anne Frank's family lived a tranquil life before the Nazis pervaded the land in World War II. After the Dutch surrendered to the Nazis, the Nazis demanded the Margot was to go to a work camp. The family then hid in the empty space of Otto Frank's business company called the secret annex for two years in Amsterdam .On August 4, 1944, a German secret police officer accompanied by four Dutch Nazis stormed into the Secret Annex, arresting everyone that was hiding there. Anne Frank's family was betrayed by an anonymous tip, still anonymous to this day. Anne and her sister was sent to a concentration camp, and died of typhus in the early springtime of March 1945. Anne Frank was only fifteen when she died, and…

Anne began to mature in the annex while writing in her diary given to her by her father. Writing the diary helped her to understand her frustrations and feelings. It helped her to discover who she was as well as not to take anything for granted. The diary helped her see how immature she was and how she had treated her mother bad and the Van Daans. She started treating them nicer. She was the only one that gave everyone a Hanukkah gift. When she realized she could talk to Peter, she realized not to take their friendship for granted because at the time, Peter was really the only friend she had.…

Anne Frank's internal conflict stems mainly from the adolescent turmoil that most teenagers experience. She wanted very much to be a normal, goofy teenager. At some points, Anne stated that she felt like two different people. One was the fun, noisy, annoying Anne, and the other was deep, quiet, serious, and afraid to let it show because of her fear of being laughed at by others. Anne also shared her struggles with a lack of self-confidence. She dreamed of being a journalist or writer, but she questioned how she could accomplish such a dream due to her shyness and insecurities. Anne often wrote about how she felt grown up one minute and like a child the next. She experienced tumultuous feelings about sex and relationships with boys. In particular,…

In the play The Diary of Anne Frank by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich,Anne has trouble staying quiet and still being the energetic person she is. This is shown when workmen leave at night “WHEE”(25;1,3). After the workmen, go home Anne explodes. Anne must feel very cramped, having to stay in the Annex. She may have other people with her but they can't talk for fear they will be found. I related very much to Anne, I would be super energetic. After one week I probably couldn't stand it, I would have to move. Anne like me only wants fun in life “I only want some fun… someone to laugh and clown with”(27;1,3) Anne being they very energetic girl she wants to have someone to laugh and play with. In the Annex most people and older so the only…

Figurative language is very important to the “Diary of Anne Frank”. An example of this is person vs conflict. In this story, the characters, Anne and her family, shows person vs society conflict. “Yesterday Father told me we were going into hiding. Where, he wouldn't say. At five o'clock this morning Mother woke me and told me to hurry and get dressed”(Goodrich and Hackett 704). This shows person vs society because the Franks have to move. They have to move because of the society. Person vs society is also shown when the families can't talk because of the workers. “So to be perfectly safe, from eight to in the morning until six in the evening we must move only when it is necessary, and then in stockinged feet. We must not run any water”(Goodrich…

Anne Frank once said, "In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart." This quote was written right before the Annex was found by the Nazis. I feel this expresses three of Anne's personality traits. It indicates how honest, humble, and brave she is. Even when her whole world is crumbling and she has every right to be angry at the unfairness of her situation, she still chooses to believe that people are good. Anne Frank, a Jewish girl alive during World War II, believed the Nazis looking for her and her family, were good people deep down. Anne was a Jew, hiding in an attic from age thirteen to fifteen years old. She wrote every day for two years in her diary named Kitty. She, her family, and another Jewish family were all hiding from the Nazis because Germany had ordered the extermination of all Jews in 1939. This became known as the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a genocide, where about six million Jewish people were…

Jacobs’ story reminds me a lot of Anne Frank and her isolation to avoid getting caught by the Nazi’s. Anne Frank has the advantage—if we can call it that—of hiding out with her family Jacobs, however, is completely isolated in the small garret above her grandmother’s shed. At least Frank had room to walk and activities to do. Jacobs had nothing to do but listen to conversations in the street and survive. Jacobs had to endure the pain of being away from her children. Although, many slave women had to give up their children, knowing her children were so close but she couldn’t talk to or hug them must have been…
