Animal Testing, a cruel and heartless act that people practice. They make animals suffer so much. Cruel experiments with all types of animals, with rats, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, and even chimps. Everyday more and more of these helpless animals are tortured with, experimented with, some unimaginable experiments taking place in these cruel labs. Animal testing, also known as animals experimentation, animal research and in vivo testing, is the use of non-human animals in experiments that seek to control the variables that affect the behavior or biological system under study. Animals should not be used for product or medical research.

Researchers have found out that 90% of drugs tested on animals that aren't harmful to them are to humans or don't have any affect on them.(Source 5). 90%! ,then why keep using animals? The testing on these poor animals is pointless! Scientist are just wasting money like it is nothing. Many people also think that animal research is an amazing practice. They might argue with counter arguments like, If humans never used animal for testing we wouldn't have cured many illnesses that had a devastating affect on humans. Many medical breakthrough would have never happened, like when scientist found a cure for polio. If scientist saved so many lives, why would people want to stop animal testing? It heartless that some people do not want to test on animals, do they want people to die? Scientist can go through many more amazing breakthroughs with the help of animals. The medical and scientific field can advance so much more with the help of couple animals. There are about 5 billion rats, so why does it matter that people use a couple? Yes, there have been medical breakthroughs with the help of animals, but that doesn't mean it will always be okay to do. Like stated before, 90% of experiments are a total fail! Why should animals die when scientist accomplish nothing? That means that scientist are just being ignorant, and they do not want to say that they have failed on a project. Poor animals are dying because these type of people do not stop after killing some animals, they keep on killing. Maybe animals are needed for some project, but not all for others.
