Animal Farm Essay
Animal Farm is a book about the famous Russian Revolution in 1917. Animal farm is written by George Orwell. He wrote Animal Farm to explain the corruption in russia throughout the Russian Revolution. The book uses certain animals to compare the lifestyles of certain people in social classes and it shows how they react to the new leader Joseph Stalin. For example they use Old Major to represent Karl Marx who made up the theory communism but then Joseph Stalin came in and changed the whole concept and idea Karl Marx had. Stalin made it where everyone was not equal just how Napoleon did in the story. Napoleon is the best example of Joseph Stalin in the book and Mollie is a great example of what happened in the 1900s to many of the citizens

Mollie Was one of the blind followers of Napoleon. Mollie loved being pampered and having all the luxuries in life right there in front of her. She was a racehorse which meant she was a very well treated horse. Mollie didn't know why the animals wanted to overthrow Mr. Jones because Mr. Jones in her eyes was a great leader and did everything right. Mollie didn't want to do what the animals said for her to do such as give up her beautiful ribbons Mr. Jones ounces gave her or sugar cubes that Mr.Jones used to fed her on occasion for being good or winning a race. Mollie doesn't realise her freedom and equality is being snatched away from her, she was clueless. Eventually later in the story Mollie gets lured off the farm to another farmer who will treat her with ribbons and sugar cubes. Mollie tried to get the other people to stop that they are fine with Mr. jones but she really didn't. Mollie doesn't act like the other animals in Animal Farm she is treated way different by Mr Jones than any other of the animals were. Mollie represented the bourgeoisie in russia or the rich people. Mollie was high up in the social class and gott what she wanted without having to give up anything. Mollie was pampered and cherished because she got the money for Mr.Jones.
