I think we all want justice and equality, a chance for a life with meaning. All of us would like to believe that if we were in a bad situation someone would help us." Angelina Jolie on her motives for joining UNHCR in 2001

Angelina Jolie is world reknowned for being one of the most beautiful and most talented actresses to ever grace the silver screens. She is beautiful, she is glamourous, she is famous. Living life with everything that most of us would kill to have, beautiful kids, the wealth, and title and most enviously Brad Pitt. However its not just her fame and gorgeous man that makes her so compleltely impelling. Its her heart, her integrity and her good will to put others before herself that makes her inpsiring, that makes her a leader.
I have chosen Angelina Jolie for these very reasons. Starting as an unhealthy and unhappy actress and taking the leap to be someone who can make a difference to the world, it goes to show that you can do anything if your mind is set to it, and you have a strong purpose in life. Angelina Jolie isn't chasing the fame, she does the work, and she goes out on limbs to live how the impoverish live, to eat how the starved eat and to sleep how the homeless sleep because she cares. Because she believe that every body, even those living in third world countries deserves a 'chance of a life with meaning' and without understanding what its like for these countries, how could she

Some say she is only remembered by her sex appeal and drug habits but it is so much more than that to me. I personally look past the sex and drugs and look at how she is so comfortable in her own skin and that just because she has some curves that it doesn’t make her “ugly” or “fat” it just makes her a little more meaty than most models are. She doesn’t cover herself up more because she is bigger she embraces it in a way to show other women that it is okay to be more the 100 pounds and that you can still be beautiful even if you’re “overweight.” And she never let the people who didn’t agree with her decisions and opinions change her and I think that is a big problem in our world…
