The Ancient Greeks made many contributions to Western Civilization in the area of Math. Math is the science of number, quantity and space.
Without math we wouldn't be able to design or trade stocks. As seen in document 5, an excerpt from the Elements, written by Euclid, this is one of many theorems by Greek mathematicians. This theorem is a theorem that I personally have used during my time as a geometry student. This shows that work by Ancient Greek mathematicians is still being used today. Math was another way in which the Ancient Greeks contributed to Western Civilizations.
Math, government, and philosophy from Ancient Greece have all had an impact on Western Civilization. Ancient Greeks ideas and culture has shaped many peoples lives today. Many civilizations as well as the Ancient Greeks have also made impact on Western Civilization.
