Please see below. You wrote a phrase on examining the workforce in America. The interaction with your writing also reminded me of Robinson (2011), “The War For Talent” (p. 70). Clearly, educational information catches my attention, as did your purpose. As my focus of writing continues to enhance, the need for me to learn from journalism and peers review in my own

Writing varies from a text message to a novel. Writers often have a difficult task in creating a piece of work that truly identifies the meaning of good writing. Every good writer usually starts with the basics such as genre, audience, rhetorical situation, and reflection of the piece. Throughout this semester, we have gone through all of these key terms in great detail with each new assignment that has come our way. In doing this, not only as students but also as writers, we have come to create our own theory of writing. Every writer has a different theory of writing though most are very similar. Now, at this point in the semester after doing countless journals, in-class exercises, and final assignments, I think I have figured out my own theory of writing.…

In English 1A I am beginning to understand how to enjoy writing. One fatal flaw I previously had in my writing process was that I tried to write the near final draft the first time, it was a slow and tedious process, that made my despise writing. The tool I used to overcome this is freewriting- being able to just throw out hundreds of words in short amount of time with ease is such a relief when it comes to write an assignment like these. Plenty of my free write words don't ever make into my final paper, but just free writing with no limitations is actually fun. I recall how enjoyable it was to write for the genre paper. The genre paper did it feel like work and I managed to create many great ideas. Freewriting is also useful because the lack…

It shows off your passion of being able to teach students on how to grow and love to write. By that sentence alone you not only described your passion, but as a reader who hates to write. It really made me think maybe he can resolve the hatred people have towards writing. Overall, you created a very humble and positive voice throughout you paper. The art of writing is a unique skill that requires the writer to have great flexibility and be open to improvement. Some may consider themselves a “perfect writer”, when in reality, no one is, and will ever be. Writing is a process that requires one to continuously build on skills learned in previous situations, applying new techniques and strategies to future writing projects. Different settings require different writing styles, and with that being said, one must be willing to change their writing skills to suit the requirements of their current setting. In the following essay I will reflect on past writing assignments, identifying my best and worst writing courses, strengths and weaknesses as a writer, and my opinion on why writing may or may not be beneficial to me throughout my career.…

After reading “The Writing Process” in chapter 2, I learned the major aspects to writing a well-developed essay. The methods in developing an essay are: finding a focus, developing a thesis statement, drafting, and editing. Firstly, finding a focus plays a crucial part because when there are many ideas in mind people tend to have trouble focusing on one topic. After settling on a topic, the next step would be to create a thesis statement. The thesis is a statement that relates to all the ideas and the essay should be centered on the statement. Likewise, drafting brings in a lot of ideas for a paper. Drafting essays allows plenty of editing time. While editing essays, one might come across grammatical errors. Identifying errors and correcting them will make the essays sharp and to the point.…
