Analyzing The Hunger Games '
Unity is strength, when there is teamwork and cooperation. When you're struggling and need help with something what do you do? Do you try to do it on your own? Or do you ask someone for help? Have you ever realized when you work together with someone you might get the job done faster? Well I can assure you in the book I’m reading, working together really gets the job done. Instead of working against one another why not help each other. You know what they say, two heads, are better than one. My book starts off with one of the main character's Katniss Everdeen thinking about the hunger games she was in a year ago.
For those who don’t know the hunger games is annual event which one boy and one girl from the ages from12-18 get selected from the

It kind of reminds me of another place I know of ,but that will be saved for another essay. If more people would have been involved there might have been a different outcome. But they chose to be silent and be oppressed by their government. As for a special treat the president decided to put every one who had recently won the hunger games in the past to attend the 75th Hunger games. This will be including the Katniss and Peeta who had won the previous year. They had chosen Haymitch ,but Peeta volunteered as tribute and Haymitch was saved. Let’s fast forward a little bit and continue to when the hunger games …show more content…
They practice every day together for the same exact reason. They even eat together and even spend time outside of practice. Not only does teamwork help you achieve your goals but also it helps you become a better person. For example, as you talk with your group or team you gain more confidence in the things you can achieve. Also you can be accountable for everyone on your team. Life doesn’t have to be so hard, you can rely on your teammates,co workers,or whoever it is you can trust on. Cooperation is another key thing to have as a successful team unit.
The military does not argue while they’re fighting in mid war. A team does not turn on each other in an ugly situation. Teamwork is all about trust and believing in your group or teammates. One of my favorite quotes says “Coming together is a beginning,Keeping together is progress, and working together is success.(Henry Ford) This is one of the most inspirational quotes about teamwork even though
In conclusion there are many difficulties in life while you're on your own. There will be so much adversity that you can’t comprehend why things happen. But, remember that when you have friends or co-worker or even teammates they will not let you face things alone. Even if it is the most smallest thing they will help you or you can help someone who is in need of help. I beleive that unity will one day bring peace to the

As punishment for a past rebellion against the Capitol, in which a 13th district was destroyed, one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from each district are selected by an annual lottery to participate in the Hunger Games, an event in which the participants (or "tributes") must fight to the death in an outdoor arena controlled by the Capitol, until only one individual remains. The story is narrated by 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, a girl from District 12 who volunteers for the 74th annual Hunger Games in place of her younger sister, Primrose. She comes from District 12, where coal is produced, and most people live in the state of poverty. Every year, two tributes are reaped from each district to compete in a sickening ‘celebration’, the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games has only one rule: to kill, or be killed. When Katniss’ sister was chosen as a tribute, Katniss bravely volunteers in replacement of her sister. Along with Peeta Mellark, Katniss is to represent District 12 in the 74th Hunger Games.…

Team work is defined as the process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal. A successful team involves individuals who can work well together, trying their best in any circumstance to achieve that one main goal that they have set out to achieve. Teamwork means that people will try to cooperate, using their individual skills and providing constructive feedback, despite any personal conflict between among themselves. In every team, all members should possess qualities such as honesty, dependability and accountability. Team work may sometimes be challenging because every team has their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (S.W.O.T), but for team work to be effective, each team should aim for S.M.A.R.T, this means they should aim at goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, and realistic and spend time to perform the tasks necessary for the success of that team’s goal.…

The Hunger Games is set in a futuristic country called Panem, within Panem there are 12 districts and the capitol. Each year one boy and one girl between the ages of 12-18 are "reaped" from each district to fight to the death in the hunger games. There will only be one survivor, leaving 23 dead. The movie starts out in district 12 where Katniss and her little sister Primrose are preparing for the hunger games. At the reaping, Primrose's name is called but Katniss volunteers in her place. Katniss must say goodbye to her family and her close friend Gale to go on the long trek to the capitol. The other tribute, Peeta, as well as their mentor, Haymitch, and escort, Effie, join them on the train ride to the capitol. Once they arrive they begin training for the hunger games as it requires a lot of physical strength and survival skills. The other tributes, and gamemakers, are very impressed with Katniss' archery skills. Meanwhile, Katniss and Peeta are becoming a lot closer friends until he reveals that he has a crush on her in an interview. The next day, Peeta, Katniss, and the other tributes are dropped off at an arena set up as a forest. Katniss remains by herself for most of the games and lets everyone else die off. After being stung by mutation wasps another tribute, Rue, cares for her wounds and they both become allies. After Rue dies Katniss hears an announcement that two tributes may win if they both come from the same district. She hurries to find Peeta and then they set out to find the last tribute to kill.…

Teams help individuals interact on a personal level and feel more connected to the mission at hand. As they work together they build on each other’s strengths and help fill weaknesses. People need to have a way of connecting to and owning the process in order to truly succeed. In a team effort we can lean on each other and use our teammate’s experiences in order to reach our personal goals (Lee, 2001).…

There is a really in dept meaning of what the hunger games is really portraying and what it means, which can be hard to explain, but picture this scenario: Twenty-four teenagers, (12 boys, 12 girls) and they are all sent into a giant arena to kill and fight for their lives. But only one can survive. Think to yourself what would you do? Katniss and Peeta were horrified and for them, the Hunger Games was real. Three rules they stuck with throughout the games: Don't step off your plate before the sound dings, don't insult the capitol, and most importantly don't get killed, but honestly with twenty-three other tributes out to kill you, you can't wait time, you always have to be two steps ahead of them and you trust no one, or you most likely will end up dead. It's a pretty gruesome concept to process, but that is what's known as the Hunger Games.…

Team means “Together Everyone Achieves More”. Teamwork is the ability to work together towards a common vision. Teamwork is all about caring for each other. Teamwork is everywhere. The individual efforts result in a level of performance that is greater than the sum of those individual efforts. Weaknesses of one member can be supported by stronger members who will make the results better and more effective than a person doing it individually. Without teamwork you would not be able to complete things that require the help of others such as building a house, running a factory, or even picking food products. With teamwork relationships and friendships are formed, work gets done, and teamwork teaches you responsibility. It requires you work together in form of trust. In teamwork you learn from other, if someone makes a mistake then there is an opportunity for others to learn from it and try not to do it again. To make the team succeed there should be a good leader to motivate the team. When talking about one man army it is clear that there is only one person with one talent whereas team has multi-talent because each has a different spatiality. The team is stronger, like it is said "Two heads are better than one". Individual effort takes a lot of time to accomplish a task but the team divides the task and accomplishes it in a shortest time. Disadvantages of teamwork also leads to interdependency as tasks are divided among the workers but if one worker is absent or unwilling to work, the entire group will have to suffer. Not all members of the group will undertake their tasks on time and can let the entire group down. Not all members will have the same strengths and weaknesses. If ideas of different members conflict, it can have very adverse effect on the performance of the entire team. Despite having many disadvantages, the advantages of teamwork outweigh them. There is a famous saying,” Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success” which shows the…
