Analysis Of Universal Studio Singapore: USS. Halloween Horror Night
Universal Studio Singapore (USS) halloween horror night is an event that will be held every year in the month of October. However, it will only be available on the Fridays,Saturdays as well as Sunday. The theme park will then be designed into a horror place. The theme for every year will be different. This year the theme is set as, “Rise As The Blood Moon”. The haunted house this year was something quite relatable and often heard of. For example, “Hell House”, “The MRT”, “Siloso gateway Blk 50” and “The Tunnel”. And the scare zones are, “The Invaders”, “Conterminated”, “Hungry ghost”.

This is not the first year i have been to USS Halloween horror night, in fact this is the third year i have been to USS Halloween horror night. The reason why

The entrance queue was also moving at a rapid speed, i think the time i had to wait was less than 10mins. But however, the waiting time for the different rides as well as the haunted house takes at least one and a half hour. And when we let into the haunted house, we went in by batches, and it was a rather big group going in together. Which, in my opinion, it was not as thrilling, as the screams from the front have already prepared me on what I are going to face. I think time is a factor to why i was unable to finish all the four haunted house, as the waiting time is really long. Even though with that, i felt that the queue were really organized. The reason is because, there are at least two crews at the queueing entrance for rides, and direct us to the either the “normal pass” or “express pass” queue. And outside the ride, there is a board, which actually show the approximate waiting time for that particular individual …show more content…
Even though my friends and I were really lucky, in terms of being blessed with having a chilling weather when we were there, but i actually notice that, there were not much places for people to rest, in the event where there is a downpour of rain. I felt that this could be one area where the theme park could have looked into, so that they are better prepared in times when it happens.

Last but not least, even though there were many crews around, but i did not see any Medics or First Aid kit around. The place was pretty dark, and there could be a time when medic is needed, thus, i felt that there could be a few crew that are trained in First Aid to be walking around the theme park, so that they can attend to anyone when they are injured.

However the jam when we are leaving the place is really horrible, even though it is expected. The queue for taking a cab was also extremely long, which causes most of us having to book for a cab

The early morning fog was sluggishly surrounding the famous Universal Studios globe fountain and all the nearby buildings. My family managed to make it to the lower lot of the park before it lightly started to sprinkle. We got in line for the Revenge of the Mummy, their busiest ride, and immediately after all of us got under the tarp covering the waiting lines, the rain went from a slow and steady pitter-patter on the streets to creating puddles in just a matter of seconds. The rain was beating heavily on the tarp above us and people were scrambling to cover their phones and themselves. Because we only had one jacket and the tarp was not helping us stay dry, we all had to huddle under one small size jacket. A few minutes later, my mom decided to take off her…

We are here to discuss the “Theme Park” project that we were set to complete. To date we are 40% complete with the project. We currently do not have any actual costs associated with the project so we can assume that they are in order. However, I think that we should still look into the matter since we were given a budget guideline to follow.…

In serious case of a accident or seizure (which lasts more than five minutes) call 999. There are several problems facing Jason Mah and Café D Pownd. One serious problem, which arose from lack of space, was the confusion building in the queues since people had no idea which line they were in. There were times when people had been lining up in the interactive cooking line for several minutes when they actually wanted to be in the pre-cooked line. Another problem was the long lines tended to create a wall of people in front of the soft drink machines, becoming burdensome even with as few as 20 people waiting for service. In order for people to get drinks, they had to barge through a line of people. Usually this confusion caused spills and was annoying for people waiting in line and the people trying to get to the soda machine. There was also the issue that the customers might use other alternative options for meals if the long wait time was not resolved at Café D Pownd. The residents had other options for meals. Suites in Cambridge Hall and Nottingham Hall were equipped with furnished kitchens, and residents could also order a wide variety of food for delivery to the residence from local restaurants using their residence meal plans.…

Movies like Halloween (1978), Frozen, and 300 says much more than what many viewers really understand about what the author or creator is trying to say about the actors and/or maybe himself . Going more into the films, listening to the words and looking closer to the actions of the characters one can see the truth that is hidden in plain sight. ''300" should be a heterosexual movie, but it is clearly not due to the actions of the men in Sparta. Women in Halloween and Frozen are seen as strong individuals in times when they are expected to be weak.…

When looking at the movie cover of Halloween, you first feel terror. The fire, masked figure, and apparent suffering in the still images make you naturally feel uneasy. You are then drawn to the caption, Evil Has a Destiny. If you weren’t feeling uneasy already, this caption should do it. It brings up questions and makes you want to know the answer. This visual is effective in instilling a feeling of mystery, it does this through not showing the face of the figure, scrambling scenes from the movie, and giving a vague setting.…

The fictional film “Ghost” directed by Jerry Zucker is an unusual kind of love story and is very unique. It is about two people, Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen, who are deeply in love with each other but later parted by an accident. Sam was shot by a hired killer and his ghost is seeking justice for his death. He never left Molly’s side, he guides and protects her in every way he can. That’s when he came to know the truth about his best friend, Carl Bruner, who was secretly in love with Molly. Carl tried to seduce her, wanting both Sam’s money and his girl. Sam discovered his best friend’s hidden agenda and he became furious and paranoid. He asked help with a psychic named Oda Mae, she’s the one who warned Molly about the danger. At first, she never believed her, until one time Sam proved himself that he is around by lifting a penny and placed it on her hands. Carl suspected that something is going on, in order to cover up his intentions; he planned to kill Molly and Oda Mae. Carl went to the house, prepared to murder the two. With the help of Sam, he is unable to hurt them both and he ended up being the one who was killed by the shattered glass window that poked through his body and died. Carl’s soul was dragged by the bad spirits into the darkness. When Sam is about to ascend in heaven, Molly had a chance to see him and hear his voice. Before he leaves, he kissed Molly and they were both happy in the end, contented with the love they shared and it will remain in their hearts forever. The characters and the actors who played it did very well. Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore have chemistry and they are able to shift themselves to the story. You can feel the intense emotion and it touches our hearts. The supporting characters also exhibit their personas. The theme of the movie is romantic fantasy; it is perfect for the viewer’s taste because it has a different twist. The setting is fine; you can feel the New York City vibe,…

” Our emotions and our fears form their own body, and we recognize that it demands its own exercise to maintain proper muscle tone.” Stephan King quotes. Most people watch horror movies just to show that they are not afraid, to just watch it for fun, or even to release the inner kid in themselves. Insidious had to be one of the scariest movies I’ve ever saw.…

America’s coastal national parks are some of its most beautiful, but also some of its most vulnerable. Throughout the years, hurricanes have wreaked havoc on many of these prized regions. They can leave behind numerous kinds of destruction in their wake. Wildlife populations can be damaged, as well as important parts of the parks ecosystem. Hurricanes can also damage the man made utilities and recreational areas of the parks. These issues impact the national parks not only because they require funding for immediate repair in the short term, but also because they can potentially lower visitation numbers in the long term.…

Blood, gore, death, darkness, suspense, and fear of the unusual are just a few ingredients that are stirred into making a horror film. Horror films are projected to create a psychological sense of fear; however, humans tend to enjoy and crave the heart-pumping adrenaline rush of terror. Some believe it is the calling of curiosity while others think it is the section of insanity that imbedded itself into our mind. Trepidations are not a trend that has set forth in the twenty first century; we humans hunger after the thrill of terror ever since Roman times. In addition, horror films closely relate to events like gladiators fighting at the Flavian Amphitheatre, not only because of the blood and gore, but for the audience purpose of intentionally…
