Analysis Of The Song 'Radioactive'
In “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons, they sing about starting a new life. It tells us that your new life is dangerous. “Radioactive” also says it is about not giving up during this new life that you have started. The theme of a new life is shown throughout the song with literary devices such as metaphors, hyperbole, alliteration, and repetition. Firstly, Imagine Dragons keeps singing, “I’m radioactive, I’m radioactive” throughout the song which is called repetition. This lyric shows that they are unstable and are very crazy in the head. Secondly, the lyric, “I’m breaking in, shaping up, checking out on the prison bus” there is the sound of “ing”, this is called alliteration(Dragons).
