Question 1: Evaluate Sheikh Mohammed’s Approach to Building Dubai and Explain Key Influences in His Life. Assess Him as a Ruler/a Businessman
In the recent times of the 21st century, Dubai has emerged as one of the most prosperous economic regions in the world under the governance of Sheikh Mohammed. The main triggers of this success are the emergence of the area as a business hub in the United Arab Emirates. The city is developed with the most recent cosmopolitan systems in place and hosts amongst the world’s tallest buildings. The main economic activities carried out in the region include trade and tourism, and the two have a significant contribution to the entire nation (Krane 2009). In aggregate, the success of the Dubai city is a genuine representation of the efforts and work of real and high-quality governance provided by Sheikh Mohammed.
Basically, the main key influence in Sheikh life was his father and the rise of the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed can be traced back from his original background. Sheik Mohammed gain leadership qualities by both heredity and development as …show more content…
The reason behind his action was to develop an understanding of the task and its difficulties "situation leadership depend on specific features of the situation (eg. Characteristics of task, characteristics of followers)" (Rajbhandar M, 2015). He also successfully solved and deal the tasks and emerging situations in the region and Dubai for example, he overcame many emergent politician and business problems like, aircraft hijack in Dubai, UAE diplomats attack in Europe and Emirates Airline issue. Consequently, Sheikh is active in different situations and directions, and particularly wealth of the city.
