Richard Rogers, original name in full Richard George Rogers’s, Italian-born British architect. He described as “celebrating the components of the structure.” high-tech approach in his works and his designs (Britannica 2017).He is one of pioneer architects of the British High-Tech movement. High Tech is the style of architecture practice represents a form of late Modernism or Postmodernism and considered Structural Expressionism or can we say it continuation and a modification of Modernism. In addition, it is an architectural style include elements of high-tech industry
It is unique design the façade including HVAC elements and famous outdoor escalator (Archdaily 2017). The façade painted different colors, the structure of ventilation elements painted blue, stairs and elevator structures painted a silver gray, plumbing and fire control piping painted green, the electrical elements are yellow and orange, and the elevator motor rooms and shafts or the elements that allow for movement throughout the building are painted red. Escalator painted red on the bottom on the west facade, a tube that zigzags up to the top of the building providing the view of the city of Paris (Archdaily 2010).
