Nadel uses picture collages to bring out the similarities in two people. I explored this idea of being connected by your similarities in my drawing, “Me in you” (image 5A and Image5B). I also used the physical idea of joining the faces together in one of my portraits. It joins my siblings and I together by making us a whole face but we are still different as we sing align because we are not completely the same nor are we completely different. Nadel uses the collage as an alternative medium to show connection. (Nadel,2015)
