Analysis Of KFC Restaurant
At first we will proceed the activity A which is discuss about the assignment question because we need to clearly know what the questions are asking about and set a direction, so that we write on the right path and this take up 2 days. At the same time, we visit KFC which is located at Genting Klang and capture some photos inside as a reference for later activities. Since the restaurant is only nearby, we plan to use 3 days to finish it because drafting its layout out cost us a lot of time.

After activity A, we will start to run activity C, distribute the works to everyone to make sure there is no free rider and also do the assignment more efficiency. This is a simple work, 1 day is enough to complete. Then we can begin to draw the layout

Therefore, my members have enough time to do arrangement on labeling the items for the purpose of not making others confuse. Since labeling is easier than drawing, the time period given is lesser than drawing layout.

Now, we have prepare the sample layout of KFC, so we can start to design our own layout of Cafe by making some improvement by proceeding activity F.We plan to use 5 days to discuss about the weakness of KFC restaurant, give recommendation on it and apply the improvement in our new cafe. Then write down the things we talk about in activity F.

For activity G we decide to spend 8 days in drawing and labelling the new layout. The time period given is lesser compared to previous because of familiarity in those works, so we believe that he can process the outcome faster. This mean we can delay our project for not more than that figure. Therefore, only 2 part of the assignment procedure we can postpone. The rest is critical path, means, we are not able to delay for any moment or else the whole project will slow down.
It can see that layout is importance for a restaurant, not only for the company’s image itself and also the customer’s satisfaction. We believe that the layout of ‘GOOD GOOD CHICKEN RESTAURANT” will provide a convenience, comfortable and safety environment for customer to enjoy their meal in our restaurant. The layout of the restaurant is as important as the employee to make the restaurant work.
The environment of restaurant had played a very important role in business that will affect customer satisfaction and the profitability of the business. It will help to retain the customers when they feel comfortable to dining in “GOOD GOOD CHICKEN RESTAURANT” and they will wish to coming back to have their meal for more.
