Analysis Of Groom Tiger Times
Although Groom Tiger Times is a great website, it could use some renovation. The renovation I would ask for is more polls personal stories.

The reasons I would like more polls is because I like how whoever decides to visit the website can express their opinions whether for a new school, or putting doors on the bathroom stalls. Polls can help or polls can start arguments. I also like how they show the options and you can see what they voted the most.

The news and sports can get boring at times. The personal stories about our reporters, editors, photographers, and etcetera, can give great information about themselves. I would also like to know what they do and how they do it and whether they like it. I think polls, and personal stories

I chose as my columnist Leonard Pitts Jr. from the Miami Herald. The reason I chose Leonard Pitts Jr. is because he seems like such a passionate writer. His article headings really grab your attention, and draw you in. So far he seems a little unbiased in his news articles that talk about things like politics. I think he’s the kinda columnist that will explain his opinion on the topic, but will also give you the other side and both with facts included. Also Leonard writes what he is really passionate about like there are articles about refugees, bullying, mass shootings, racism, and coming together as a community. He is the kind of columnist that makes me excited to read his news articles, and offers a variety of subjects to read. He will also…

My favorite journalist is Hunter S. Thompson because of his ridiculous stories and how interesting his life is. Hunter S. Thompson was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on July 18, 1937. His father, a veteran and insurance agent, died while Hunter was in high school. This left him with an alcoholic, destitute mother and two younger brothers. This left him free to seek trouble throughout his life, starting with the people he would scour the neighborhood with in his teenage years. In the midst of his trouble, he was honing his talent and passion of writing. His talent got him into the Athenaeum Literary Association, despite the organization being comprised of well-off families. However, he quickly proved that he was not the average writer, and most…

In the book written by Amy Chua titled Battle Hyman of the Tiger the author compares the different cultural upbringings between “tiger mother” a Chinese American women and her spouse, Jed a man from a liberal Jewish background. The Chinese mother was raised by what Westerners would considered to be strict, in regards to parenting. As a child her parents gave her very strict rules, curfew, academics, extracurricular activities were all under her parent’s complete dictation. “The tiger mother” uses these rules as well to prepare her children for success. Childhood to her, was remembered as an area in life where as a parent they would train their children to be strong, confident and successful. Jed, the father…

Parent although a simple word, there is a large debate as to how one should raise their children. All decent parents show love and want what is best for their children. There is no right or wrong way to parent a child but, parenting comes with challenges for example whose happiness really matters and who should be able to decide what's best for the child's interest. There are two common methods of parenting, Tiger parenting and Western parenting. They both love and want to help their children reach their greatest potential, but they take to very different paths of success. Tiger parenting is more rigid, whereas Western parents take a more relaxed path.…

“By voting, we add our voice to the chorus that forms opinions and the basis for actions” - Jens Stoltenberg. This quote by Stoltenberg shows us how by voting we are giving our own opinion towards the matter and your opinions will help the actions. Everybody’s opinion matters and they all should receive the right treatment. A poll should be fair to treat everybody's opinion the same since it decides the outcome and the actions to be taken. Something should be done to prevent from an over strict system that allows tremendously few choices and filters for certain ideas.…

As a trainee, I was told not to write paper in the office, which is contrary to my first intension, instead, I was required to go out on a story with veteran journalists every day. It was really a hard job, physically and psychologically. Carrying recording or shooting instruments to look for news or writing materials, you're gonna walk across high streets and back lines for the most of the day and suffer from continuous refuses for interviews and even come to unprovoked abuses. Although the job was hard, the life was engaged.…
