“Man serves the interests of no creature except himself.” This quote exposes the selfishness of man, how a person works for their own pocket and benefit that is for example nepotism and corruption. In this essay I hope to gain better writing skills as a future journalist whose focus will be on print, be able to analyse issues surrounding us. I hope the reader of this essay will be informed well after reading this essay as it is based on facts. The reason research is very important because we are able to learn about new things from it. Jones was the apartheid government treating the animals badly, Napoleon is the present leadership, the leadership that promised its fellow ‘comrades’ after they have overthrown Mr. Jones they would be equal which is not happening now that they are in control, Squealar (Mac Maharaj), Sheep are gullible South Africans who vote ANC endlessly. The South African Government are regrettably also like the pigs on Animal Farm they not keeping their promises which they promised their people. In one case they used the police to cruelly enforce the governments ideals on the masses, even shooting miners so they could go back to work and make them money with that 34 miners died. When they needed the people to fight and stand up against the old apartheid government they made extravagant promises of equality and freedom to their fellow black people, creating a whole new constitution to protect human rights. It is true that" All animals are equal but some are more equal than others".
