Trump: Devil or Angel

Politics today are often a subject that many follow, and is not limited to age, race, or ethnicity . In today's modern world, many of the current issues are plastered across the social media, such as Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook, and the most popular current issues was the 2016 Presidential debate. The debate was between a very outspoken narrow minded politician, Donald Trump and a woman whose last name was very well known in politics, Hillary Clinton. Each of the candidates who were running in the presidential election of 2016, were playing to the voters of what was most conversational at the time. Hillary Clinton, played to the audience on the idea of feminism and how they should vote her into office, primarily

So, any racist remark and/or ignorant saying that the president of the United States spits during a speech/ press conference is often documented to show what Donald Trump true behavior really is. Often, Trump is disregarding many cultures/aspects of the free world when the president makes these remark, and that Trump often follows the ideals that to be superior you do have possess two common characteristics: white and male. When Donald Trump was running in the 2016 election, the president realized that he could use this idea to play to his benefit, the idea of white superiority in males. According to the article The First White President by: Ta-Nehisi Coates, the author quickly backs up this idea by stating, “is ideology is white supremacy, in all its truculent and sanctimonious power. Trump inaugurated his campaign by casting himself as the defender of white maidenhood…”. This quote provides a quick background information on how Trump snuck his way into office. During this time period, many conversational issues had popped up during the presidential election of 2016 , that Trump knew he could use towards his benefit, this is including ( but not limited to) issues such as Black Lives Matter, issues with immigration such as deportation raids, and finally gay rights. As ignorant as this man was, he often regarded these issues’ with little importance, and continued on with the racist slogans of …show more content…
President Trump is what will lead the country to fall to ruins, based on the idea that one man is better over another based on race, gender, ethnicity, or background. The idea that white supremacy and that just because one is white and male, they can overrule anyone or anything, is something that will destroy this country. From the three articles I’ve used, Ive compelled an informed and intelligent opinion against this man. Donald Trump has not done all bad, the president has been able to make positive contributions to the country, but the ideas that are held in this man head is what is proving to be dangerous. Donald Trump will continue to yell hateful words and spew hateful speeches, and this is truly what will tear our country apart. People will continue to fall in this man's footsteps and that will what truly tear our country apart. Now it's the audience time to decide, will you let this continue, or will you stop this

In“Trump’s Bluster Is Heard Around the World,” an article published on Yahoo! Politics by Gregory Katz, sarcastic tone and vivid descriptions portray Donald Trump as a selfish human being to manipulate readers he will not be a good president. Katz’s sarcastic and criticizing tone adds to the negative view of Trump presented in this article;“His is clearly a recognized name worldwide, which is not to say it's a beloved one.” Katz then proves this point by quoting individuals from around the world. In the first description of Trump, a woman who lives next to a Trump resort calls Trump a spoiled “strange fish.” She then describes his toddler-like tantrums, causing an image of diaper wearing Trump whining and flopping for what he wants to pop into our heads. Katz’s next proof is a video of Mexican comedians dressed as Donald Trump performing an act written from his statements. The comedians are all wearing fake guts, Neanderthal clothing, and blonde wigs. Katz writes, “It's striking how many people know of him at all,” as if Trump is some new American celebrity who is just now getting attention for his statements. It is almost impossible to not recognize the Trump name. His name is on everything he owns, and he owns buildings, programs, and boats worldwide. Trump had been known by the world way before he decided to run for president. To end the article and finish his characterization of Trump, Katz writes,“That would be one side of Trump that few if any have seen — one who says ‘sorry’.” Like Buzzfeed and Alphacat, Katz includes mockery of Trump so viewers will chuckle at their possible leader. This humor alongside Katz’s sarcastic and condescending tone alarm readers that Trump is well known, not well…

Martin Luther King had one statement that people connected with the African American people, the punch line stated, “I have a dream.” Not relating the two people because they are very different and all Americans unlike Trump hold King to the highest integrity. That being said, they are and were both prominent figures in society. Both prominent speakers had a message that they used to define their makeup. Trump has used his own rhetoric to the same effect and connects himself with the voters. Trump has used distinct message, which is “Make America Great Again.” During his campaign so far Trump has used, the language of the people. Malansky states, “Trump has a clear narrative, a master story that he sticks to”. He also goes on to say “He speaks…

Donald John Trump is a business later reality television star and now US presidential candidate. We've all heard it before. But what really stands out to make The real estate mogul different from the presidents in history? Throughout his campaign he has produced a straightforward rhetoric often viewed as offensive and laid a platform where minorities may feel threatened. He has appealed vastly to the Common Man by making promises to bring back jobs shipped off to other countries and to cut business regulations. He's promised to build walls and to lay down strict immigration policies. Much of this appeals to the common working class person, who feels like the Obama Administration in particular did not have their back. However, Trump is one…

For example, the Justice Department sued Trump’s real estate company twice for not allowing black people to rent his apartments. The company gave different rental terms and conditions to black people that were unfair. The company also lied to them, saying their were no rooms available. During the presidential debates, Donald was asked about those claims and responded saying how an abundance of other companies have done that as well, as if that makes it okay for a future president to do so. In addition, Donald also attacked Muslim gold star parents verbally. Their son had died serving in the Iraq War. After the father gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention Trump said, “ If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me.”(Marans, “Here Are 13 Examples Of Donald Trump Being Racist). This remark is racist without a doubt and the effect of these examples are scary. He also accused Hillary Clinton of writing a script for the father which is rude and disrespectful. During debates and press conferences, they show their true personalities with their thoughts and reactions. Sometimes, candidates bring up meaningful data when trying to gain supporters. I do not know if Donald Trump views it as you do. Trump represents a sizeable group in America that wants the worst for this nation. He constantly remarks about discriminatory and bigotry type practices. Today’s times and concerns are not the same as the 1700s, 1800s and 1900s, and as a result, one would think that race relationships would be much improved; unfortunately, it does not seem like that, and I do agree with you. This class has open my eyes pertaining how White American has treated non-white people, which consist of southern justice, reconstruction, Japanese being jailed during World War II, Native Americans being forced on reservations, and much more. There is a need for “equality” and fairness in this country. Those words…

The ¨Donald Trump´s Immigration Policy Speech¨by Donald Trump and ¨The story of the Bad Little Boy¨ by Mark Twain are similar because they are ironic. In the speech Donald Trump says in paragraph 2 ¨We also discussed the great contributions of Mexican-American citizens to our two countries, my love for the people of Mexico, and the close friendship between our two nations¨. He is saying that he loves Mexican people and that Mexicans contribute to the country but, he wants to build a wall so people cannot cross the border. He also said that Mexicans are rapists and drug dealers. In ¨The story of the Bad Little Boy¨ by Mark Twain is ironic because Jim the little bad boy was always doing bad things and nothing bad ever happen to him. In paragraph…

People! I need each and every one of you to pay close attention to what I am about to say. We do not deserve what the President is doing to us. We have done nothing wrong and he is killing our family, friends, neighbors and other people we know. He is treating us like animals. I have been a slave in Trump’s house for months and have suffered the terrible consequences of living in this country. Getting whipped and starving is just the start. I have had friends that have died because of Trump’s racism. The color of our skin has nothing to do with the people we truly are. The white supremacists are actually taking over OUR country. Yes! I say our country because it is. We know enough and have worked hard enough to be in this country. The US is…

Social media is described as the potential space of interaction where citizens are simultaneously exposed to news and the views of people in their social network. While most people use social media only to receive friendly updates, obtain emotional support, or to flip through photos and videos they may also be subject to political persuasion without any knowledge of it. Frequently citizens are influenced by news media and/or social context when forming their own conclusions about politics. Usually political persuasion is achieved through the conversations people have because they can ignite disagreement, which in return leads to someone being influenced to change their views. The Internet and social media are also considered to be heterogeneous networks for the reason that it is very diverse. This diversity can attribute to the fact that people are shown alternate views on politics, which of course leads to the persuasion of change. Once an individual has been exposed to new viewpoints it boosts their demand for new information that supports their current thoughts and beliefs. Both disagreement and diversity go hand and hand with each other. Such a diverse network can lead to disagreement among people who believe that their thoughts are true and others are false. The diversity urges people to seek new views and more information, contemplate their own…

Just recently the US went into another historic election that saw Donald Trump getting elected as the 45th president.
