Analysis Of Bill Bradley's Ambition

Bradley said,“Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in(Bill Bradley Quotes).”Without a doubt, he achieved great success as a citizen- athlete, but what made him the citizen-athlete he became? Was it his family background? Many people believe it was his family background because of how his mother and father raised him. His Mother, Susan Crow, was an educator and his father, Warren Bradley, was an investor. Sadly, Bradley’s father became very ill. In spite of his illness his mother became successful and was able to have a wonderful career. His father did everything he could do to help Bradley become the basketball player he always wanted to be. His mother was devoted to his father because she knew that he was not able to do the things a healthy father could do for their son. Bradley had things to take care of at home when it came to taking care of his father and helping his mother. However, this is not correct. Bradley became victorious athletically and academically. He would rather miss out on family get togethers and work on his shots and running. He always wanted to be better than he was before he stepped on the court. Bradley also would watch the elections when he was younger; he would be so ecstatic that he would wear politician buttons to school the next day. Bradley never had free time. He was always busy trying to become better than he was at everything. He hated being criticized as a player and judged as a politician. He wanted to make those around him better and happy.
