Analysis Of An Anti-Utopian Thinker By Thomas Malthus
Many people claim that we, the human race, are the ones responsible for many of our problems. Some people had very valid predictions. One prediction was made two hundred years ago by Thomas Malthus. An anti-utopian thinker, Malthus attributed many growing social problems to the population of the Earth. He directly stated that growth in our population would exceed our food supply. I agree with his views one hundred percent. We are the ones who are killing ourselves. The birth rate of the world is increasing faster than the mortallity rate. This is not viewed as a problem at first.
If you look at it from Malthus's point of view, if the birth rate goes up more and more, that means more food production. The extravigant planet that we call home
