An Unprepared Date
Unprepared first date What makes a first date so important? It’s because you are making your first impression on the special person you are with. Everyone has a first date, whereby those feelings just take control and can overcome us to the point where we would become so unprepared. Becoming to recognize on how unprepared you are, you start messing up by forgetting to get flowers on a first impression, losing track one where you are going, and also to having trouble speaking your words. Having a first date should be fun and comfortable without having to worry about what will go wrong. Somehow it is normal for others that may become so nervous, hence having to forget bringing the flowers, sometimes it may be losing track of time or having to forget the actual address. Well, it’s my first date, nervous and palms are sweating. I’m feeling as if the world will end if I knock on her door, looking at the watch and its six p.m. It was then I realized that I had forgotten to get her flowers, so I quickly ran out to her front yard and search for at least a flower that is worth looking at. I stumbled up a rose bush and painfully picked up five white roses. Rubbed off the little blood I had on my palm with my black jeans and went back to the front door. It was then I noticed she was already there, door wide opened, seeing her beautiful eyes looking at me puzzled as I nervously handed her the white roses. She looked at them as if she knows where these roses come from. We smiled and I spoke out but I didn’t quite well put my words so she just told her parents that she was leaving and out we went, having thoughts in my mind that next time I shouldn’t forget the flowers. You can have too much fun and can lose track of where you are going, especially when you are not familiar with the environment. It was then when she asked where we were going and I had a paused response for 5 minutes and just said that we were going to take a walk around the seaside then head to Princess

The morning went so fast, I was slightly nervous about seeing Josie again since it had been three months since our last encounter. I put on a t-shirt and shorts on then stood in front of the mirror as I splashed my face with water. I looked at the clock and saw it was 11:50 so I grabbed my helmet and jacket as I pushed my motorcycle out the garage. It wasn’t until I got to the street before Subway that I realised my phone had fallen out of my pocket and I had left my wallet at home. I knew then I was going to be late and Josie was going to…

I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get a hold of her. I quickly ran through my list of problems. I ended up having to repeat it twice because I was talking so fast; she couldn’t understand a word I was saying. “You have to calm down sweetie.” My mom stated. I was wondering why I was hearing this so much. Did anyone realize the pressure I was under? She began to explain to me that she had taken them out of my bag that morning because she was buying new ones, which were going to be delivered by my grandmother prior to the beginning of the showcase. I smiled at how much I had overreacted. I hung up with my mom and headed to the cafeteria. I was able to eat now that that problem was solved.…

I thought about my actions and figured that we both were to blame. After all, we both kept going at it with the music. The next day, I decided to create a welcome basket, as an apology for the night before. As I got to her house, I saw that she had a surprised expression and stopped whatever she was doing in her garden. I continued on the path to her house, with a tiny nervous smile on my face, as I didn’t know what to expect from her. As I began to approach her holding my gift basket in one hand, I raised it up towards her, and began to…
