My freshman year was an important year because my teachers were pushing me more. Teachers were taking the modifications out of my assignments. Even though I still had my ESL support class, where they would still help me with my other classes’ assignments, I was on my own in the rest of my classes. In my freshman year, I could read, write and English much better and I felt confident in doing so. It wasn’t the best but it was my best. Sophomore year came and I was put in a regular English class, but it was 9th grade English. This made students make fun of me again because they I was the only sophomore in that class.
