Macbeth Essay #2
Hitler is a leader who had fallen because of unbridled ambition just as Macbeth. Both were very corrupt rulers, who did numerous wrong doings. Neither of them wanted to be leaders for the love of their country, but instead wanted to lead for other reasons. We both know Hitler was in it to go after the Jews, mentally ill, homosexuals, Jehovah’s Witness, etc. Macbeth on the other hand only wanted to become king because his wife pressured him too, and because the witches’ triggered his vaulting ambition. Hitler and Macbeth both had similar ways in how they ran their country, and took advantage of their leadership. They both also had a few differences, but none of them makes one of the evil leaders a “better” leader than the other.
Hitler had gained power after he had gotten out of prison. When Hitler was released out of prison he had promised everyone if he were leader he would bring back pride and joy to Germany, which was a lie. Just like Macbeth, Hitler did something wrong in order to gain his spot as a leader. While Hitler was leader he was the face behind about 60 million murders. His plan to get wipe out an entire race was going his way for a little while. Hitler began to lose his power on the date of June 6, 1944; which is known as “D-Day” or the Battle of Normandy. Allies had gone over to free all of Europe, they have finally figured out all of Hitler’s hideous things he had been getting away with. On D-Day Allies had overthrown Germans in most of France. These D-Day invasions were planned to open up a Western front on Germany, which would take some of the pressure off the USSR in the East. Their plan had succeeded, once they began getting closer Germany had blew up all the bridges so the Allies couldn’t reach the capital of Germany where Hitler was. The Germans had made a mistake and forgot to blow up one bridge before the Allies had already discovered it. When...
