Compassion is very important trait. It means a lot to me. Compassion means that you can forgive and understand a person. You can love someone and do absolutely anything for them. Compassion means that you are kind, loyal and trustworthy. If you have compassion you will never leave a loved one even in bad times. Compassion means that you are able to listen to someone. When you are showing compassion you take ownership and stand up for something or someone. Compassion should be shown and given by everyone. Elie Wiesel was talking about compassion because this was a terrible event. He was talking about compassion because he wanted to show people that he was strong. Well that is kind of your own opinion. I could agree with both sides of the argument. I think compassion couldn't be a human right because of these couple of reasons. One is that everyone should be able to choose how they act and feel. No one should tell you how to act to a person. But, if you are not compassionate to some people you could serve consequences. People should be free to act as they with but not in a rude way. Another reason why I don't think compassion is a human right is because there is no law saying how you should treat people. Unless there is a law people are free to act as they please. On the other hand I could believe that compassion is a human right because everyone should show love to someone. Compassion is something that everyone should receive. No one deserves to be hated on or not loved. At school teachers please us with field trips and fun activities. So since they do this it makes me work harder at school to show that I am appreciative to what the teachers have done for my peers and I. This makes an impact on me because the teachers don't need to do all the things that they do for us. Every year my family down it's close to the kids that need clothing. This allows kids to be warm during winter and have a good set of clothes. donating clothes makes an impact on me because no kid or adult should be cold during winter or be left alone with no
