It has always been a close tie between whether football or baseball is truly Americas sport. Baseball has always been considered “Americas Past-Time”, but as the years go on football has been growing in popularity. The number of fans have grown significantly over the years. Football targets a different type of people, people who are loud and rowdy. First, baseball is played in the summer. It is more than a sport, it is a gathering. It has a social appeal that football will never have because the majority of it is played in the warmth of the sun.
