America's Gift To My Generation Essay
“America’s Gift to My Generation” From coast to coast, from sea to sea, the armed forces have given their lives fighting for our rights. In American we have rights beyond the imagination. We can vote, we have freedom, and most importantly, we have a choice. Without the military we wouldn’t have those rights. So, we need to thank them, and our veterans, dead or alive. America’s gift to my generation is wonderful and we might not have those gifts without our armed forces because, they fought to keep us united, free, and alive. Without our armed forces our country could have been spilt. On April 12th, 1861 a long five year war started, called the civil war. Our ancestors fought to keep the county united. They died in great numbers just so our …show more content…
This nation has battled in countless wars for freedom. WWII and our struggles with Great Britain are only a few examples. In those wars other countries tried to take over our countries. In WWII Adolf Hitler tied to take over the world and in the Revolutionary war we fought for our freedom. Our armed forces devoted their lives to make and keep the United States free. Without them we might we might be a part of England or be bowing down to an Austrian dictator.
We are alive today and because of the military. In the many wars that we had the armed forces fought to keep us safe. All of the wars that we had could have resulted in use not being here today. The heros in the military fought had to keep America safe and for future generations to be alive. If they didn’t sacrifice themselves to our great country then we may not be here today. We might not have the rights we have today and the lives we enjoy. So, we need to thank our veterans and armed forces without them we wouldn’t be here today.
Our armed forces have got us through many predicaments. The US is what it is like today from their actions. We owe our thanks to them for what they have done for us. America’s gift to my generation is wonderful and we might not have those gifts without our armed forces because, they fought to keep us united, free, and alive. So, thank you
