I think there is a misconception of the term gun control. Gun Control is supposed to be the government regulation of possessing and using firearms by private citizens. Instead the government is using it as a way to take the right of the people of the United States right to bear arms away. Criminals fear people who are armed. Victims who always use guns for their own protection were not as likely to be injured than if using any other form of protection. There are many reasons that people want to own guns.
