The Triad Insurance Company of Indianapolis Memo

What are the issues and conclusions?:

This proposal was created by Mr. Clarke, Director of Operations at TICI, who proposed a three-week long program at the Aspen Leadership Institute of Colorado for a training opportunity for the junior insurance executives. The program would require 20 individuals to be sent to this training costing $5,000 per person and a total of $100,000.00 per year paid to the Aspen Leadership Institute. Ms. Khali personal thoughts on the training program: that the

Management guidelines must be developed to create a benchmark of expectations. “Without measuring the effectiveness of strategy on a timely basis, makes it not only difficult to determine alignment, management is always working with lagging information” (The Executive Corner, 2004). Each step of the final solution will be measured to meet the businesses needs. The human resources department will define three main competencies of each department within sixty days. In order to ensure effectiveness, the competencies will have to be approved and agreed on by the CEO and senior management. Shawn is also an expert in change management and motivational leader. I have been recruited to work along Shawn and work closely with him to establish a cross cultural team that will help address global challenges, provide guidance and provide recommendations to each objective. Shawn and I are concerned after meeting with John that he never mentioned anything concerning the employees at AGC and that he does not think that the employees have an impact on the company’s success. The human capital in fact has an impact on the company’s success and if not dealt with and managed properly the company will continue to do poorly. An upcoming meeting with the company’s board of directors and John, Shawn asks you for advice on how to approach the board on its lack of knowledge on global human capital, some examples from other organizations that will help them gain knowledge on the subject and doing all of this without offending or embarrassing…
