America the home of the brave
Some people wonder if I'm proud of my country, considering the economy, the stocks and the jobs. if your wondering ,yes I love our country. one reason is 9/11,another is the Iraq war, and the last is, relief to troubled nations. See people gave there life's because they are proud off their country so I Guess I am too.
During 9/11 many lost loved one some of them where firefighter they rushed in when people ran out. 65% of firefighters are local volunteers there putting there lives on the line just to save other people, that's what I call courage. Let's not forget the first aid who rushed in they gave up there live to just to save one person, what a nodal sacrifice. Many people died on 9/11 But as much as it hurt us it brought us together as a whole for once.
After 9/11 the U.S.A went to war with Iraq and its terrorists. We were outnumbered by terrain with land mines ever where we looked. War was deadly we lost more than 2,000 men and women in the first year. There are men and women dying every day in Iraq just to protect the land they love and the people near their hearts.
On March 11, 2011 a 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck the island nation Japan. The next day America was on the spot. We rescued people from the rubble and really helped out. On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti. We were there on the spot saving lives and giving a hand. Many lives were lost on that day but think how many lives would be lost on that terrible day.
In conclusion we should all have learned that America is a brave country and will fight for its freedom. Just remember the men and women who did for our freedom from the Mayflower, to the civil war when it was brother vs. brother, and 9/11 to present. I guess we really are the home of the brave.
