The Alien Human Project

As you can imagine, making a new type of human is pretty expensive. Scientists have set up a new nonprofit called the Center of Excellence for Engineering Biology. This organization will try to reach a fundraising goal of $100 million this year alone. The total cost of creating new alien Earthlings is still a secret. But it will surely be in upwards of $1 billion. Maybe the researchers of the study could start a crowdfunding campaign. There are more bizarre campaigns than creating new people without belly buttons on Kickstarter for sure. It is still unknown if the government will back the project. However, it would be foolish if they didn’t. They could essentially build an army of people that had no families, friends, or purpose other than war.
New Humans a Bad Idea
Developing a new type of human could make a big impact on the world. The Earth is already too crowded as it stands. Energy reserves are set to run out in roughly five to eight decades. Federal and state programs are feeling the pressure of the population enough without more humans added to the mix. Alien humans could be made slaves to service the needs of regular humans, but historically, slavery doesn’t really work out the way anyone plans it. Always a bad idea. And if other governments got their hands on such technology, military use is a definite factor. Should a new human species be introduced into the
