Unit 6 Assignment
Romeo and Gladys

For the unit 6 assignment on case analysis, I will be conducting a case study on two clients.
Case Study 1: Romeo
The first client is Romeo. Romeo is a 19-year-old Hispanic male. He has numerous visible tattoos, piercings, and puckered scars. Romeo discloses that he attempted suicide twice during high school and lately has been feeling like he might try again. The last two times he tried, he bought some prescription drugs off of a local dealer in his neighborhood.
Romeo has no job, is not in school, and is not close with his family. He is homeless and rotates between different friends’ couches and the occasional shelter. Romeo admits to gang involvement in the past but refuses to answer questions about possible current involvement. Romeo states he currently uses marijuana daily to try to “stay calm.”

Case Analysis:
Client Strengths:
Romeo’s strengths are independence, loyalty, and his age. Romeo has been taking care of himself. Romeo is loyal to his “gang”. He will not give any details about this gang. Romeo is only 19 years old. He is young enough to attend college and obtain a job in the career of his choice. Romeo can use his strength of independence to his advantage. He can use this strength to determine which short term goals are attainable and realistic.

Ethical Considerations:
I believe an ethical consideration in Romeo’s case would include being unbiased about his gang relations and drug use. Although I do not agree with Romeo’s lifestyle, I need to view things from his standpoint.

Cultural Considerations:
According to Romeo, he is of Hispanic descent. The Hispanic population is vast and linked to gang relations, drug use, and possible violence. Hispanic gang members usually have multiple tattoos and piercings.

HSP: Romeo what brings you here today?

Romeo: I have been feeling suicidal

I first knew Romeo as a little boy, who was born into a family that was involved in a harsh, long-lasting feud with the Capulet household. As Romeo grew older, I served as a mentor to him. He would often come to see me to talk about his problems with me and it was through these conversations that we became friends. I started to teach him to disregard the conflict between his family and the Capulets, and to always gain new friends, not enemies. Romeo really took these lessons and tried to use them in his life and apply them to the lives of overs as well. Romeo turned out to become a polite, kind, and caring young man who showed compassion to all those people around him, whether they be Montague or not. Romeo was never really into the fighting that was going on between the houses, instead he would rather try make peace with the Captulets so that there would be no more of the violence.…

To approve that the authority figures lead to the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet Lois Kershen quotes that, “As a young girl practically restricted to her house by the social customs of her time, she has very little control over anything anyway. Moreover, she lives in a family where her father does not know how to express his love except to make decisions for Juliet that he thinks are in her best interest. Her mother is too cold and distant to give her good advice, and her nurse, though she loves Juliet, is too crude to understand the delicacies and dangers of first love.” ( Source 1, paragraph.9) Lois Kershen argues that Juliet's authority figures are to be blamed because they don’t give her a voice and she has to obey her parents even if she doesn’t like it. Her authority figures put too much pressure on her (father) and give her bad advice(nurse and mother) as a young who’s getting to know how life works. Lois Kershen also mentions that “There, the family feud causes Paris to assume that Romeo has evil intent and the resultant fight costs Paris his life.” ( Source 1, paragraph.4) This paraphrase means that fighting between the families leads Paris to conclude that Romeo has cruel intention and the consequential fight causes Paris to die. So once again…

I first met Romeo when he was just a little child, born in a society absorbed in hatred. Romeo had a good life but was lonely. His parents did not have the time or energy to look after him and show him the attention he deserved. I often saw him wondering the streets at night misbehaving. Once I saw him steal a loaf of bread of his best friend Benvolio. As Benvolio treated him with insults, I came along and paid for that loaf of bread and took him back to my cell to teach him some life lessons.…

One of the personality traits that Romeo demonstrates in the play is being lovesick. First, when Romeo falls in love with Rosaline, she does not respond. As a result he forces himself to live in an artificial night. He also keeps to himself by avoiding every person who tries to talk to him. When Bevolio and Lord Montague learn of this, they try and figure out why Romeo is in the state that he is. Lord Montague says, “...And private in his chamber pens himself,/ Shuts up his windows, locks fair daylight out,/ And makes himself an artificial night” (Act One, scene two, lines 137 to 139). Romeo gets over Rosaline when he sees Juliet at the ball at Lord Capulet’s house. Obviously, Romeo’s inability to find true love forces him to become lovesick.…

Romeo is the main cause for their deaths, because he is so impetuous he doesn’t think before he acts. If he would just take a deep breath and think about his actions he could’ve changed a lot of things. For one maybe he could’ve calmly went to his parents and talked about it with them. He needs to just calm down and think before he does. If he would calm down he would have solved his problems better and he could have made…

The rock concert, featuring many popular rock bands including the Rolling Stones, drew a wild and unruly crowd and used the Hells Angels as security guards. Once the Rolling Stones took the stage, there was an outburst in the crowd. A man tried to climb on stage and was stabbed to death by one the Hells Angels guards. This scene is perfect for Romeo and Juliet because it exemplifies acting without thinking or considering the consequences. Not only did the guard kill the man without thinking about what he was doing, the victim also acted impulsively. At the time of his murder, the victim was high and stupidly tried to climb on stage. Although he could not have predicted it would lead to his death, he should have known that climbing on stage would not have a great outcome for him. The victim’s situation is similar to that of Romeo because they both made impulsive decisions that ultimately lead to their deaths. Perhaps if they had stopped to think about what they were doing, they would have lived longer…

To begin, the first characters that contribute to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet by thinking with their heart are Sampson and Gregory. As they are not protagonists in this story, but they are servants of the Capulet family. In Verona, two families have been fighting for many years. It has gotten to the point where they don't even know why they are fighting. Sampson and Gregory were walking along the streets of Verona, armed with swords, looking as if they were searching for trouble. They speak about their hatred towards the Montagues, then Abraham, a servant of the Montagues arrives. Sampson and Gregory quarrel with him. The prince quickly arrives to break up the fight. Prince stated that, “And made Verona's ancient citizens cast by their grave beseeing ornaments to wield old partisans, in hands as old, cankered with peace, to part your cankered hate.(I,i 87-90)” What the Prince said was that our elders learned to accept each others differences and is asking them why they can't seem to do the same. I feel that that this introduces us and reminds the families of their hatred towards each other, which leads to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.…

Romeo is presented as a lonely character. This is evident when Morcusio says “Hes bee seen there many mornings, crying his tears that add to the fresh morning’s dew.” From the quote it’s apparent that Romeo isolates himself from the outer world, Shakespeare tries to imply this through the sympathetic imagery and the way he apposes society.…

In measuring effectiveness of any consumer marketing strategy, point of purchase (POP) merchandising has to profoundly contribute as its key success component. Leveling up the sales of any product requires a POP merchandising display that represents a combination of a strategic brand identity, a stable advertising communication, and a well thought of marketing scheme (Eby, 2009). With the continuous efforts of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies to exercise all possibilities in nontraditional advertising, comes the escalation of retail marketing or POP manufacturing companies. These manufacturing companies come up with the latest technologies and increase resources to keep up with client demands and their competitors.…
