Airport Security Informative Essay
Theses: Although the attack on the World Trade Center was a devastating and traumatizing event, it created lasting effects on air travel, Homeland security, and The Patriot Act by fortifying the United States’ security.
I. Before the attack on the nation on September 11th, airport security was not as it is today; airlines have become stricter and now requires to follow a number of steps for individuals to be able to travel.
A. Traveling to foreign lands quickly became more difficult because of the terrorist attack, “The new TSA implemented procedures that included stricter guidelines on passenger and luggage screening. Only ticketed passengers could go through security, and an ever-changing array of machinery and procedures were introduced …show more content…
Because of the attack on the World Trade Center, traveling has become so heavily secured that it is almost impossible for another attack on the nation to occur in the same way as on September eleventh.
D. With the new guidelines and security laws, individuals trust airlines and feel safer traveling to foreign countries.
E. The attack on the Twin Towers in America led airports to buckle down on security; likewise, Homeland security was created after the attack for the purpose of making our nation safer.
