First of all, we would like to thanks to our almighty Allah for finishing our project report timely. We would like to express our sincere thanks & gratitude to our course teacher Mr. Hanif Mahtab from the core of our heart for his kind co-operation, support, guidance, constructive supervision, valuable information, instructions, and advice and for motivating us to do something creative in this competitive business world. We are very much confident that his help in preparing the planning will go a long way for the future time of doing both Management & Management process. We all the four students tried to do this term paper on those as professional as possible. It is a great opportunity to do such a project report on management process of an organization. It will be the beneficial for our future course of action more specifically in our practical life to work in an organization. We know management functions are 1. Planning 2. Organizing 3. Leading 4. Controlling. In our project we have mainly focused on planning and organizing. In planning we have discussed about the Agrani Bank mission, goal target and also vision. And how they take steps to achieve their goal. We have discussed about their employee selection procedure, employee training procedure. In this organization the relationship between lower lever employee and higher-level employee is flexible. Thus divide the year into four parts for budgeting. They have strategic planning for their entire organization as well as they use the operational plans.
In this organization the employee get the high level of effort who is allowed to originate and carry out plans. The employee of this organization is aware about organizational goal and they have the positive to reach to the goal. The top level employee anticipates the future by analyzing huge amount of environmental information. Moreover, the top level employees have the authority to make the decision intuitively. In organization we have focused about their departmentalization. They have no customer departmentalization. They do not follow any chain of command but they have wide span of control. This is a decentralization organization and also low formalized organization. Moreover we have discussed about their communication system, reenactment process and also evaluation process of employee.
As we are the students, doing the course Principal of Management (MGT 211), we have been assigned to make a report on Planning and Organizing functions and Organizational structure of an organization. To do this research, we have chosen AGRANI BANK. We have also discussed about the different parts of departmentalization of this organization. We think this will help us to know, how they are performing the planning and organizing functions and how they are contributing to the economic growth of our country. We have chosen this organization not only because it is at a high position in Nationalized Commercial Banking Sector but also for some other reasons. In this organization, we can see they also have a well-organized hierarchy, which would help us to explain the different managerial function of different managers in the organization, more clearly.
