Facebook is the most widely used social networking platform. It is founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg. In spite of being the most widely used social networking side, there are advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantages of Facebook is networking. We are able to make new friends on Facebook. And it also helps us to find old friends. When a friend goes away to any other place, we often don't get the chance to communicate with them. And Facebook has the perfect tool to search up for old friends.

Facebook helps business too, like selling products online. Selling products online attracts more customers because of the convenience that it offers. Online shopping also provides the convenience of shopping in the comfort of one’s home so there is no need for traffic jams and rents.

Source of information and news are also a huge advantage of Facebook as it provides online reading newspaper. Online reading newspaper gives a huge advantage as it saves paper and it is very convenient. Reading the news online is also a huge advantage as it as very up to date, unlike the printed newspapers.

On the other hand, one of the disadvantages of using Facebook is privacy issue. There are plenty of hackers and stalkers out there, and it is also a reason why we should never put up personal details on Facebook.

Fake profiles are also a huge matter on Facebook. It is very dangerous to all users out there as someone might get scammed. There are many fake profiles and it may lead to criminals if the users of Facebook are not aware of problems like these on Facebook.

Conculsion, Facebook has the potential to make your life simple and convenient, as well as wreak havoc in your life. Its influence is mostly dictated by the choices you make while you are online. With clever use, you can manage to harness its unlimited
