Should Doctors intentionally end the life of someone? Lately there has been major controversy surrounding the subject of physician assisted suicide. Some people think doctors should assist patients in committing suicide, however this is a terrible idea. Physicians should not assist suicide because the individual could eventually overcome the problem. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
To begin with, suicide is never the answer. There is usually a solution to every problem. Instead of assisting suicide, physicians should be trying to seek help for the patient rather than bring an end to their life. If physician assisted suicide ever becomes a national thing, the mentality thinking that suicide is "a solution" will only increase. If word ever spreads that physician assisted suicide is now a legal obligation, imagine the mass amount of people that will now bring the thought into their consideration. Even if the suicide isn’t committed through a physician’s authorization, the suicide rate will increase. The solution is love. As corny as it sounds, love is the solution to nearly every social related problem. The biggest cause for suicide is depression. The source of this depression can come from many things. The best solution to this is to spread love. Show compassion and sympathize with those who are at an all-time low. Show them that there are people in this world that care about them. They should never have to resort to physician assisted suicide, or even suicide in general. If the world spread a little more love, there would be a lot more life in today’s society. If every person at risk of suicide had the world backing them up, then they would be well aware of suicide being the wrong choice.

To wrap things up, physician assisted suicide should never happen, for suicide is only a temporary solution to a permanent problem. Physicians should instead try to help patients find a better solution than suicide. This can be done through anti-suicide movements, community uplifting groups, or simply by love. If the world spread more love, there will be more life to go around. Suicide is never the answer to any problem.
