1. Do you think MacTemps should have changed its hiring strategy? Explain
This strategies are good on firm`s hiring strategy.
First of all, CEO have strong mind to rectify the problems, thus all of this firm`s managers and employee`s are effort to this strategies. To bring in entry-level employees who reflect the ethnic composition of the countries in which it would like to do business is improved new employee`s lnvolvement of firm`s culture, then some employee promoted high level of manager, this firm`s strategy is going on the future. And performance related promotion is enough to minority ethnic`s motivation for all about firm`s policy, so I`m confident this policies improved firm`s hiring strategy.

2. Do you foresee any problems with the changes that chuang instituted? Explain.
If hiring strategy is change, some problems remained after changing strategy,
For example, if black person is promoted high level of manager, he or she help more same ethnic group of people, this case is problem of hiring strategy, otherwise, if white people is promoted high level of manager, this manager help more same ethnic(white) people. Also, this firm is temporary staffing firm, historically, their customers want more white people,
So, MacTemps preceded their customer`s stereotypes.
Though improving their customer`s stereotype, this situation help to improve firm`s rectified the problem.

3. What should the diversity goals of MacTemps be?
Firm`s CEO John Chuang should have know to Affirmative action. Now he doesn`t understand meaning of real diversity. Because he is minority person, He is minority but he is CEO`S of large company. But his firm`s employee does not same situation. MacTemps ` composition is skewed toward secretarial and clerical jobs, the people with the most experience tended to be white females, for achieving diversity goals of MacTemps, modified this flow, and balance to

    Affirmative Action. For many Texas high school students, these two words haunt them. Their future, or at least their future at the University of Texas, depends on these words. For Abigail Noel Fisher, a 2008 graduate from Sugar Land, Texas, affirmative action and its race bias policies allegedly ruined her chances of getting into this prestigious state university. Fisher argues that race should not be a factor in college admissions processes, Fisher argues for equality. Equality in respect to race is in our constitution; it surrounds us everyday. In theory, race should be irrelevant in this day and age. Humanity has established that one race is not superior to another, so why should race matter at all in the college admissions process? Why should the University of Texas, or any other university, have that “check your race” box on their applications? Abigail Fisher, and every other person applying to the university, deserves as much opportunity as every other student of any race. When it comes to college, intelligence and character should be key to admission- not the color of the applicant’s skin.     Hello Class. Let me start off by saying that I support the Republican Party's ideas and values and I am a proud supporter of George W. bush. Do I have your attention now? good. Founded in 1974, the American Association for Affirmative Action, otherwise known as AAAA is a non profit organization that helps minorities achieve equal opportunity in the work force (www.AffirmativeAction.org). The problem with American today is that we are seen as different people because of our skin color, and a catalyst for this is in fact, Affirmative Action. Don't get me wrong, I personally feel as if diversity should definitely be introduced to every single job that this country has to offer, but the way hiring goes is what's wrong. Let me give you a brief history of this country. Back in 1776 America gained independence from England and in the next 180 years, everyone worked for where they were. In the late 1800 early 1900's immigrants from Italy and Ireland came to American in search for a better life and had to work for every dime they ever made. My grandfather had 13 children, and his hard work and dedication to educate him self made him the man he was. In my opinion, as soon as Affirmative Action began, this country lost its dog eats dog mentality when it came to self achievement.…

    While racism is definitely wrong, the American society as a whole has taken the whole race issue to the other end of the spectrum. People are afraid of being ‘politically incorrect’ and therefore try will keep silence on issues they feel strongly against since it may upset someone else. Since the Civil Rights Act of 1964, there has been a push to give minorities extra benefits simply because of their race.     Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” This statement will always ring true especially on the subject of equal opportunity when it comes to employment and education here in the United States. It’s no secret that equality has been something America has always lacked, but at the same time has always been something America stood for. In fact it can be easily inferred that equality among all men has been something America has stride for since it gained independence from the British in 1776. Our founding fathers were the first to have this initial thought, that being best portrayed in the declaration of independence, which state’s "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."(qtd. In declaration of independence) To me this means our founding fathers believed that every man from birth has the god given right to a life of liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but somewhere during Americas journey as a country it forgot it’s true creed and became it’s own tyrant preventing people from reaching their full potential while also denying it’s own citizens liberty and a pursuit to happiness.
