The economy is down due to recession and a Florida hotel resort is trying to change their cleanliness policy to bring customers back. To do this, the hotel managers propose the “$10 dollar test”. The cleaning staff clean rooms based off of an instructional video. The manager observes them and then picks one random room to inspect. If the room is clean to the manager’s expectations, he or she will leave ten dollars. However, the manager will subtract a dollar for every mistake that they find. The housekeepers disapproved of this test at first because they were not confident that they would receive a big portion of that money. Eventually however, they became motivated and started correcting their mistakes so that they can receive the whole ten dollars.…

By identifying our target market which are mothers and families with children and average incomes, and advertising towards that market, we hope that our product will sell. Advertising will need to be directed towards these mothers by using media channels directed towards mothers. Magazines, such as Better Homes and Gardens and Oprah, are examples of where printed advertisements will be effective. There are media channels such as commercials on networks largely watched by mothers such as lifetime and The Soap Opera Network where women could see the commercials. The earth is currently facing some very serious issues in our environment, global warming, air pollution and the unlimited use of our natural resources, just to name a few. With activist groups on both sides of the isle, it’s hard to decide at times which way to lean. Each side usually appears to have a very valid line of reasoning when it comes to their side of the argument. For example; according to column writer Trevor Brown of the Wyoming News, “an environmental group in the state of Wyoming is considering legal action against a wind farm because they feel that it would devastate local sage grouse and golden eagle populations. They claimed that the wind farm 's location would interfere with habitat of the birds and therefore cause a dramatic decrease in their populations. The advocates for the wind farm say that the farm is at a high enough altitude that it would not interfere with the birds at all. In short, if the courts rule in favor of the Chokecherry Sierra Madre Wind Energy Project, construction will proceed as early as 2013.” (Brown) But what if a group of locals, from Southern California, begin to raise issues regarding the protection of local beaches? In 1984 this is precisely what happened, thus the Surfrider Foundation was created. The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization that began in 1984 when a group of surfers were determined to voice their opinions regarding the protection of their local beaches.…

The first consideration is finding a suitable location to distribute them. The company can apply the flyers promotion at Shopping Mall, fishing forum or fishing tools and accessories shop. The company might even ask the shop owner such as fishing tools and accessories shop, to hand the flyers to customers during the checkout or place them on tables or shelves where customers can see them. It can help the new product to create awareness. Before attempting to promote a business with flyers, the company should check local laws and ordinance; it is always safer to hand out flyers directly to potential customers instead of placing them on vehicles, utility poles, or other objects.…
