Advantages Of Being In An Honors Society
In the world today we live in a highly consumeristic society. Sometimes we forget that being in a group setting provides the most beneficial effects on its members. For example, I typically push myself harder knowing that other in my same group are doing exactly the same thing. It gives way to a sense of being held to a higher standard, as well as getting to make new friends near and far. Getting involved is one of the most important aspects of NSCS. There has been studies that student that are involved in a club, society, or their community often stay in school, as well as do better in school. There are tremendous opportunities when joining this organization. For example many employer look in great detail for any extra-curricular activities and are often amazed when they read your apart of an honors society. …show more content…
