The internet has been the most prominent innovation in the 21st century. It’s a terrific global network that brought changes in the world of technology. However, just like any other technology, the internet has its own advantages and disadvantages.
The internet has made communication faster and easier. Emails are instant; they are delivered around the world in just seconds. There are no other forms of written communication faster than an email. Video conferencing and chatting are also two of the most convenient ways of communicating with family and friends all around the world. Communication through internet excelled way beyond the expectations of users.

Entertainment is one of the most common reasons why many people use the internet. Online games are free and accessible. One doesn't have to spend money to watch the latest movies in cinemas; many sites offer free viewing or downloading for movies. Music and videos are free and downloadable. The internet offers countless entertainment services for everybody.

Unfortunately, the Internet has several disadvantages. Emails may carry viruses that harm computer systems and some internet connections are very slow. The internet is so powerful that it draws people’s attention, making them addictive to it. There are also some websites that shows pornographic materials that is not suitable for children. The internet can be a very unsafe place to be in.

    Today the Internet has created some really bad issues. First of all, viruses are a problem for the web and its users because they cause damage to their computers. A virus is sent and received as an e-mail through the Internet, and if a computer receives a virus, it is expensive to fix.
