In general prejudice, can be explained as an unjustified or unfair attitude towards an individual based solely on their membership of a social group. Prejudice can be in the form of an attitude, usually negative, towards an individual on a count of their race, age, sex, sexual orientation or gender. There has been some explanation of prejudice that refers to one’s personality type and upbringing.
