I would like to start off by saying that when I started highschool, I hated it. 6 am is too early to be waking up to school, especially for teenagers who are not only growing, but also participating in extracurricular activities and working jobs. 3 more years of high school after 9th grade seemed grating and almost unattainable; how could I possibly go through another 3 years of bullies, social hierarchies, and meaningless drama all the while waking up before the sun? Well, there aren't many options for people without high school diplomas, I only saw 2: live fast and die you or maxing out at 35k for the rest of your life. No thanks. The main thing that kept me going was the fact that after this, ‘ll never have to do highschool again, I believe high school is a social torture that one unfortunately has to go through to prove that they are…

Adulthood was just around the corner and I could not be worried about these people no more. I had to grow up and not impress the people around…

Within every period of the school day, the butterflies started to flutter out of my stomach and into my new learning atmosphere. Although students tend to fear high school and think it is a nightmare to transition from middle school to the next level, attending high school is not much of a dramatic change.…
