Introduction
The Myst games are strongly puzzle driven adventure games with a focus on engrossing storylines and beautiful worlds. The major selling point are their pre-rendered environments which allowed for stunning graphics in comparison to other games released in those years. Millions of people fell in love with the worlds (referred to as “Ages” in-game) only accessible by Linking Books. The first game Myst, released in 1993 was developed by Cyan Worlds, a company founded by brothers Rand & Robyn Miller. Up until 2005 they also released 'Riven: the Sequel to Myst', 'Myst 3: Exile', 'Uru: Ages Beyond Myst', 'Myst 4: Revelation' and 'Myst 5: End of Ages'. The Myst games have been a massive success over the years and have developed quite a lot from their first title to their last. Exploring the differences in every sequel and the success they achieved in their time frame gives an interesting perspective on the adventure genre and the game industry in general.

The first item I find attractive at Wellesley College is the center of work and service, a place full of opportunities and possibilities. I like putting effort on community service and have volunteered in local charity for three years. Every summer vacations, I go to the old people's home and play the guitar for them. When I saw their enjoyments during my performance, I could taste the sweetness of helping others. Their smiles inspired my devotion in the community, which I hope to keep doing in my college. If I could be admitted, I would like to participate in the Wellesley Habitat for Humanity and the Chinatown Afterschool Program because of my manipulative skills and my advantage on multi languages. Additionally, I believe the work experience…

My most prized possession is my mental stability and ethical background that I have acquired from my southern upbringing. Growing up in a rural community in the south and being reared by elderly parents allowed my seeds of character and respect to be nurtured by an entire village of people who saw my potential and wanted to see me succeed and thus pushed and prayed for my wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. As a child, series of unique experiences of being able to develop intimate and loving relationships with almost everyone in my community made me appreciate the influence of everyone on my life. It was not long before I realized that no matter how old or young, rich or poor, or educated a person was, everyone contributed to humanity’s niche…

As I stare at the water and breathe deeply as the official calmly says, "Take your mark” followed by the loud sound of a starting horn. Diving into the cold water, I recall all of my physical and mental training for this specific swimming race. I perfected my technique, built endurance, and visualized every detail of the race. Over the years, seemingly endless hours of work and attention to detail, made swimming, more than just a sport, it was my art. At first exposure to urology, I was certain that I found a career perfectly suited to my personality and aspirations. It is a challenging field that requires a high level of dedication, meticulous attention to detail, and self-reflection; qualities which swimming has strongly engrained in me over the years. The commitment that I employed during my swimming career as a Division I collegiate athlete has been applied throughout medical school and makes me perfectly suited as a future urologist.…
