Even though men and women commit crime and are victims of the same, women tend to be more affected by this breed of coward men that like to establish their power and authority by abusing women. In recent years, we have seen as a country how the way people think is slowly evolving towards acceptance and female rights. Recently, gay and lesbians have been acknowledged in society, given that they were discriminated by the same society that today gives them a hand. There have been many efforts to stop crime in our country and in our neighbor countries like Mexico where we have tried for many years to slow down until extinction the flow of drugs coming in the country but, it seems to get even stronger every day. When we talk crime in society the main issues are our children being harmed, women been victimized, white collar crime, drug dealing, shooting, rapes, assaults, murders. The increasing crimes have been our issue all along these years and we haven’t stop it from occurring. Many have been the efforts to stop crime, increasing security at all levels in our society like surveillance at airports, stores, markets and even schools but, none of it has changed the criminals mind when it comes to offending or reoffending. I sincerely believe that the real issue start within our houses walls; parenting one on one should be thought to all adults or young people who are planning to have children. Some people are damaged since day one of their life but, the parents should be responsible for teaching them how to be useful to society and not destroy what others have constructed with sacrifice and hard work. Having a useful son/daughter who is being successful at life is one of every parent dreams. The environment where we are raised also teaches us how to behave to adapt for survival.
