Abundance High School Case Study
Have you ever clicked on the wrong button and all one could see was numbers, signs, and symbols that appear unreadable or what resembles the font wingdings? The configuration of the links that one sees can be complex. Instruction design involves creating a program that can be useful to many and can take many steps. Designing a training curriculum for Abundance High School will involve identifying the topics of subject matter to be taught, creating an interesting framework, creating units that work together to create the desired result, researching other functioning operations, providing instruction and support, and some hands-on assignments to enhance the learning experience. Learning assets are resources made available through a Learning Management System (LMS) or some type of learning portal. Examples of different learning assets include books, dialogue sessions, job aids, knowledge centers, live learning courses, practice labs, videos, custom course content, and much more. Key stakeholders in the high school setting who are responsible for managing the assets would be the principal, and the on-site education facilitator. The on-site education facilitator would probably conduct the professional development sessions and keep track of who attended and completed necessary tasks. The ultimate responsible party would be school board members and the superintendent of the school system. The criteria used would be based on state and federal requirements. Individual schools may have its own set of criteria that goes above and beyond in an effort to recruit the most qualified individuals possible. Lastly, the students can be considered as stakeholders. The effectiveness of the program will be the most beneficial to the students. Throughout the United States, communities had varying reactions to school desegregation running the gamut from acceptance to resistance. After failing to desegregate on their own, the schools in Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada were compelled by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to act. As a result, they created the Sixth-Grade Center Plan of Integration to desegregate the elementary schools within the district.
