Innovate a machine which is easy to use and that cannot tolerate with their accuracy, without affecting the prize of the machine. All over the world the resources of energy are reduced for that we can find new sources of energy. For that machine is both manually and power operated. In India, there is many industries which are engaged in production of manually pipe bending machine. Presently the pipe bending machine is power and manually both operated. But, the manually operated pipe bending machine has less accuracy at high prize. Therefore, our objective is to increase accuracy at low prize without affecting the pipe bending productivity.

INTRODUCTION The Hydraulic Pipe Bender is designed for bending thick-walled pipes. There are different bending dies ranging from 1/2" to 2“. The hydraulic pipe bender is not designed for bending thin-walled pipes. When tubing is bent to a specific shape or geometry, force must be applied so as to exceed the materials 'yield point', which is the material's capability to resist permanent deformation, while staying below the material’s 'ultimate tensile strength', which is the limit of the material's ability to resist tearing. As the tube is bent over a specific radius the outside wall will stretch in tension while the inside wall bends under compressive forces. The boundary line through the centre of the tube, between the tension and compressed zones is called the 'neutral axis'. The 'neutral axis' is the location from which all dimensional calculations are made.

WHY HYDRAULIC PIPE BENDING M/C Tube bending can be done manually, semi-automatically, with CNC equipment, or with dedicated machines.
CNC equipments or automatic M/C:
Requires costly components ,
Limited part complexities,
Greater space required,
Requires operator expertise,
May necessitate water, air and additional electrical power,
Maintenance department aptitude stress. Hydraulic bending machine have low initial investment,

Purpose: The purpose of this lab was to create an efficient water wheel that would produce a productive time in lifting the cup of nuts and bolts that was attached to the pipe used in rotating out water wheel. The more efficient our wheel was the better the time we would have in lifting our cup. We were then able to observe the work that was needed to turn the axel, the time that is taken to bring the cup of washers to the axel, and the power it took to do all of this. We used our observation, constructing, and testing skills in order to come up with an efficient way to build a water wheel.…

The Germans utilized the Enigma machine, a transposition device created in Holland in 1919, for communication between all branches of their armed services during World War II . In order to help win the war the allied powers became sufficient in the deciphering of this Enigma code. WWII officially began in 1939 but the first code breaking developments for the allies began quite a few years earlier in Poland . By the start of WWII British logisticians and mathematicians such as Alan Turing and Gordon Welchman led the allies code breaking intelligence from Bletchley Park . The Ultra machine, which broke these complicated codes, was first implemented in June of 1941 . The development of the Ultra Machine, the deciphering of the U-boat enigma,…

Mechanical Engineering is the application of the principles of science and mathematics to a design of machinery and equipment used in transportation, manufacturing and energy conversion. The following annotated bibliography contains three sources related to the Mechanical Engineering major. The three sources will include a scholarly journal, a book, and a lab report, with different topics, but all relating to my academic discourse community. The scholarly journal is about a mechanical hand and it covers the basics on how it works without getting too overwhelming. The second source will be a textbook for a general chemistry class, where students are able to learn how to be literate with science. And for third and final source will be a lab report…

Abstract A crawling based locomotive mechanism for inspection of small sized pipes is developed by using a tiny ultrasonic linear actuator. In case of piezo material based actuators, it is known that they have small displacement with high voltage supply. In order to overcome the limitation of common piezo actuators, the impact based piezo actuator(TULA) has been developed to realize long stroke up to 11 mm. By using TULA, we develop a crawling locomotive mechanism. Previously reported locomotive mechanisms such as earthworm-like and inchworm-like mechanism can not realize continuous motion but move with step-wise motion since they have clamping and elongation sequence for movement. Therefore, long time loss for movement of one stroke is inevitable. In this crawling mechanism, nearly continuous motion is achieved by using both directions of actuating forces. Owing to the light weight and the simple structure of the actuator, the crawling based locomotive mechanism has simple design with 9mm diameter, 40mm length and 1.1g weight. It shows 9.2mm/s in 18.5mm inside diameter of a pipe regardless of the pipe’s tilting angle. 1. Instruction The development of modern industries brought about the complexity of machines and devices and they require smallsized in-pipe locomotive mechanisms for inspection and repair. Since large-sized in-pipe locomotive mechanisms [1] using conventional motors are not…

From a quantitative perspective, the superior value and price of the Kunst 1600 can be attributed to these three elements. Value Elements: • Cost savings due to the elimination of oil change expenses and messiness -- Most owners and technicians trivialize oil change related costs. • Incremental revenue and profits –Incremental revenue and profits refers to new income that can be attributed to greater product efficiency. In this case study, this occurs in only one segment – light commercial refrigerator repairs. In all other segments, repair firm revenues remain the same regardless of which pumps are used.…

Having the wrong machine in the job will result in a loss of time, money, and resources for a company. Many people cannot lift 10,000 pounds of coal at the power plant, a 1,000 pound engine at Nemak, or push a 40 pound block through a cuber at Sartori. Various machines have been integrated into the manufacturing settings to aid us in the completion of this task or even perform the task for us. Two options that are very similar are a hydraulic actuator and a pneumatic actuator. While being very similar, they are also very different and each possesses their own advantages. The selection of the appropriate actuator is crucial to having the job completed in the safest and most cost effective manner. Having the wrong machine in the job will result in a loss of time, money, and resources for a company.…

I can’t remember the last time I started my day without coffee. It’s my fuel; it gives me the power and energy so I can work efficiently. I’m really addicted to it and yeah I know the caffeine harms you but now I can’t live without it. I could make a really good cup of hot coffee using instant coffee packs but making cappuccino and espresso seemed almost impossible to me. Whenever I felt the urge for it I had to go to the shop to buy latte or cappuccino. I was saving for the coffee machine for a while. So I bought a Saeco HD8325/47 Poemia Class Manual Espresso Machine, Black. It was cheap and looked way better than many others. It was just the espresso machine that I was looking for. It had a 2 year warranty so it seemed like a good choice to me.…
