NATIONAL LEVEL CUB BULBUL UTSAV
National level Cub Bulbul Utsav was held at National Youth Complex,
Gadpuri from 19th to 23rd February,2013. 513 Cub, Bulbuls and their leaders and 16 staff members from 23 state associations of Bharat
Scouts and Guides, Participated in the Utsav.
The Utsav programmes included competitions on Cub /Bulbul
Greetings, Bulbul Tree / Totem Pole decoration, Tara Story, Jungle
Dance, Jungle Play, Group Dance, Drawing/painting. Model making and handicraft display etc., National Commissioner Shri L.M. Jain visited the Utsav on 22nd February and encouraged the young children. An exhibition and demonstration of cultural activities by the Cubs and
Bulbuls was organized on the occasion. The play acting on Pravesh to
Golden Arrow was appreciated by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. The winners of competitions received their prizes from
Ho’nble National Commissioner.
THINKING DAY
Thinking Day the joint Birth Day of Lord and Lady Baden Powell was celebrated all over the country. Special National level celebrations were held at National Youth Complex, Gadpuri. Shri L. M. Jain and Smt
Pushpalata Jain were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor on the
Occasion. The Statues of Lord and Lady Baden Powell were garlanded and homage was paid. Competition on Thinking Day theme based on
Millennium Development Goal was organized for Rangers. Thinking
Fund was collected on the occasion. Cub, Bulbuls and Rangers presented cultural programmes on the occasion.
GOLDEN ARROW AWARD PRESENTATION
Golden Arrow Award presentation ceremony was held at the National
Headquarters, New Delhi on 23rd February,2013 at 3.00 pm. Shri
Rameshwar Thakur, Hon’ble President of Bharat Scouts and Guides
Presented Awards to the representative of Cubs and Bulbuls from 10
State Association of India. On the Arrival of Guests the Cubs and
Bulbuls welcomed them with
