Abortion is the ending of pregnancy before birth and is morally wrong. An abortion results in the death of an embryo or a fetus. Abortion destroys the lives of helpless, innocent children and illegal in many countries. By aborting these unborn infants, humans are hurting themselves; they are not allowing themselves to meet these new identities and unique personalities. Abortion is very simply wrong. Everyone is raised knowing the difference between right and wrong. Murder is wrong so why isn't abortion? People argue that it is not murder since the fetus being destroyed is living, breathing and moving. Why is it that if an infant is destroyed a month before the birth, there is no problem, but if killed a month after birth, this is inhumane murder?…

Abortion is murder of an innocent life, and it is completely wrong in every way. There is no justification that could cover the fact that we are murdering our most defenseless human beings, and if anything we should be doing everything to protect them and keep them safe from danger, but yet some are doing the complete opposite. Abortion should never be an option, and one should never feel like abortion is the only choice because it is not the only choice. One must understand that abortion is not just, and people must come to their senses and realize the true outcomes of aborting a…

A last reason of why abortion is wrong (out of many) is that it is considered brutal murder. In 1982, Ronald Reagan stated: "Simple morality dictates that unless and until someone can prove the unborn human is not alive, we must give it the benefit of the doubt and assume it is (alive). And, thus, it should be entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." (Unknown. Abortion. 17 Oct. 2008. 6 Dec. 2012. http://www.standforlife.net). You are taking a life and killing a human being. The baby is alive and not just some 'group of cells' abortion doctors call them. You are painfully putting a child to death. It is wrong to…

Abortion goes against any idea of the sanctity of human ways. It ends up taking away an innocent child’s life; someone that never got the chance to experience the beautiful ways of the world. No civilized society permits one human to intentionally harm or take the life of another human without punishment, and abortion is no different.…

Death is morally wrong according to American ethics and values so is the killing of unborn fetuses morally wrong as well? A fetus is considered a human life because life begins at the moment of conception. Abortions are painful, inhumane, and dangerous for the child, the mother, and the mother 's health. Women should not have an abortion because it is an act of taking human life, can result in medical complications later in life, and to complete the process the mother and her baby must go through horrific procedures.…

Abortion is a procedure performed to end a pregnancy before birth occurs. I will succinctly analyze whether the act of abortion is morally right or wrong. Since the philosophy of ethics is very social and states that we are all moral autonomous agents and are part of a moral community, we are defined as 'persons,' i.e. ethical individuals that legislate to reason right from wrong and thereby have a responsibility to do so. However, there is a fine line between being a 'person' and being a 'human being' -- they are closely related, but are not quite the same. The issue of 'personhood' is key and essential to any conclusion on the morality of abortion. There are three articles in which each author explains their own view on 'personhood' and abortion that will help me come to my own personal standpoint on this issue. The first article is named 'The Abortion Issue' by Mary Anne Warren, the next article is 'Why Abortion is Immoral' by Don Marquis, and lastly, 'Abortion and the Concept of a Person' by Jane English. Mary Anne Warren's basis for her argument is namely that abortion is justified, as she argues that a fetus is not a 'person.' Dan Marquis feels that abortion is seriously morally wrong even if the fetus is not considered a person because it is an act of killing a being with a right to life with a future. Jane English believes that it is impossible to define the fetus status as a 'person', and feels that abortion is morally accepted in the early stages of pregnancy but not in the later stages. I fully agree with Mary Anne Warren's claim that abortion is morally acceptable and that the fetus is not justified to be a 'person', therefore you are not killing a 'person', but the woman has a right to do what she wants with her body because she is a moral agent or 'person.'…

From there we as a society have to define the standards of when having an abortion is considered murder. I believe having a baby is completely up to the mother, but the mother is not the only creator of the baby. So what if the father, who really craves a baby, never knows about the baby and she has the abortion. Also we can see how far along the babies are when they are taken out of the womb. By week 8, not even done with the first trimester, the babies eyes have formed and he or she is definitely looking like a human. Abortion should not be legal if you classify the life as human by any means. But if the baby doesn’t have a brain, then is it alive and feeling? But then why do parents mourn losses of miscarriags just weeks after conception? He or she is a human in our eyes that’s why and why would you ever end anyones life and call that humane? Even it does result in a more efficient life for the parents and the lack of one potentilly troubled life in the future. In essence I can see where it is considered inhumane to end pregnancies. I get that to some it is killing babies.. I personally do not beliee i could eer end my baby’s life but i do believe it is a woman’s…

A baby heart forms and starts beating in the fifth week of pregnancy; therefore, that would make abortion murder. The baby that is growing inside of the woman is depending on her, so when she makes the choice to end that baby's life, they are making the choice to murder another person. The federal Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which was enacted "to protect unborn children from assault and murder," states that under federal law, anybody intentionally killing or attempting to kill an unborn child should "be punished for purposely killing or making an effort to kill a human being.” Abortion is immoral because it is the intentional killing of a human being. It is a well-known fact that life begins at the moment of conception. When we perform an abortion, we take the life of an innocent child. We deny the unborn child it’s right to live and experience the world. No one has the right to take the life of another person, even an unborn child. Abortion is murder because life begins at conception. All things that grow are living. Just because the living, growing fetus is not visible, does not mean that it is not a…

Any reasonable and sound person would be outraged and anxious if someone offered to grant mothers a right to kill their babies immediately after birth. This would be called inhumane and immoral – it would be a crime. However, this is what proponents of abortions actually do by standing for etching of the embryo before birth. They ignore the fact that the baby is already a human being, from the very first days after conceiving. According to W. L. Saunders, “Every human being begins as a single-cell zygote, grows through the embryonic stage, then the fetal stage, is born and develops through infancy, through childhood, and through adulthood, until death. Each human being is genetically the same human being at every stage, despite changes in his or her appearance” (Saunders). In other words, abortion is still infanticide, a killing of a living human being, despite the fact that the child is still in the womb.…

When someone says that abortion is okay just remember they are lying. What do you think the definition of murder is? It is “the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another”. Don’t you think that sounds like the definition of abortion. When a person commits murder they are faced with criminal charges. On the other hand when a person kills a baby they are encouraged. A baby can be aborted the day before it is dew. When a baby is six months in the womb their organs are fully developed. A mother can kill their baby even though its heart is beating. Now it is legal for the parents to decide if the baby should live or not. It is also legal to kill the baby the day before the woman is meant to have the baby. Have you ever seen a picture of a baby at nine months. The facial features and body parts are very detailed and you can see its eyes, nose , and mouth. According to http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/wdlb/ it states “The life of a baby begins long before he or she is born”. So a child has a heart beat and you say that's not murder. On http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/wdlb/ it says that when abortion became legal which was fourdy years ago there are 1.2 million babys killed every year. That is sad to think they are humans and the average amount of people murdered in 2016 was 16,238 people in the United States. There are more babies killed than people murdered. Babies have a heart beat and eyes, ears, and nose just…

There has been a very heated debate concerning abortion in the current world we live in. Do we or do we not kill a human being, an organism? That is basically the question everyone asks and each person has their own answer. Personally, I think abortion is tantamount to murder. Once a sperm and an egg cell unite, an organism is formed and its DNA fuses and its entire genetic make-up is written for the organism, in this case, the human zygote to live out. In that short amount of time, an organism is made and is considered alive, an identity is synthesized and, in the future, an entity will be embodied. In the news article, a young couple illegally went through the process of abortion without a registered physician and proper materials and tools. They bought a drug that is not safe for pregnant women to use for the girl to take and that ended up killing their 4-month old child. Her boyfriend had to physically extract the body of the dead child out of the mother. After the procedure, the girl had some complications and was brought to the hospital for doctors and police to find out. This tells me that only God has the power to create and destroy life and as human beings, we are in no power to play the role of God and choose who lives and who dies. Once we try to tamper with life, our life takes the toll.…
